ParticipantSo- you do remember which webpage you're posting on, right?
We all hate gorgeous, schmexy, rock-hard, big-muscled wimmins here. Just kidding, of course. Very nice and pretty!

ParticipantThose are awesome- I had not seen those before. The last one is clearly a painting of a scene in Labyrinth…

ParticipantSomehow the start of a deeper voice for Cindy is a bit troubling.
I think it's also possible that you're reading a bit too much into this. Women's voices change, in much the same manner as men's voices do, as they get older. In fact, women's voices aren't completely settled until their late twenties or early thirties, and men's voices can continue to deepen until as late as mid-thirties in many cases. If Cindy were to have to start shaving her chest, I'd worry. A slight deepening of the voice- which could be the result of age, illness, or simple overuse- doesn't really send me into frenzies of worry.

ParticipantVery nice. I really appreciate that Tanya, despite her muscular superiority, hasn't become cruel or abusive, but instead seems to genuinely care for Sam. Playful and sweet- I like!

ParticipantOddly enough, I find myself feeling a little sorry for Tanya, not Sam. I've seen guys like this, too- guys who have to prove how manly they are by demeaning or belittling someone else's accomplishments- you can totally understand Tanya's desire to show her superiority, even if just a little. The reason I end up feeling sorry for her, though, is that she is still reacting to his personality and his emotional abuse. Hopefully she is strong enough to break the abusive cycle, although that is rare for this type of story.

ParticipantOccasionally, although not often, I'll have daydreams or fantasies of that nature, but most of my fantasies focus on the idea of my S.O. becoming huge and muscular, but not me. I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that if a fantasy involves me changing a great deal, then it ceases to be about me as I perceive myself. Since I'm pretty comfortable in my skin, I don't often feel the need to assume other roles. On the other hand, I have been know to idly fantasize about couples that I'm friends with undergoing this sort of magnificent change and reaping the benefits…

ParticipantGood gracious! DCM! I'm honored!
Better not screw this one up then…
Yeah, that's kind of how I always feel when I go and put something out in the forum. 8)
I'd say you're definitely on the right track, though.stmercy2020
ParticipantSee how lost I am in school prep? I almost missed that! Happy birthday and many, many happy returns to both Kitsune-kun and GreyDeth!

ParticipantAll I meant is that a character called the Amazon Princess would, IMO, be incongrous coming from an actress who redefines them word "doormat".
LOL!
I can quite see your point, although I tend to agree with SilentOne in terms of what I expect from an actor/actress. I'll admit that I would like to see starlets that actually managed to be decent human beings, strong of character, et. al. and not just pretty, but so long as they can convey those traits on screen, I'm generally willing to let it slide. After all, we really don't want actors who portray villains to actually display those traits in reality (Hannibal Lecter, anyone?)
On the other hand, I would give my left nut (sorry, gross) to have Hollywood just once search out and find someone who could play a woman hero who actually looked like she could handle the role- and I'd be even happier (much, much happier) if they actually found someone who could act and went to the trouble of giving her decent direction. Is that too much to ask?!

ParticipantStupid British.
You could always skip across the pond and try living here… ;D
I remind you of the Wizards' First Rule (with a nod to Terry Goodkind): People are stupid. Including the people who say this.
