    Given the rules of MMA and boxing- and the fact that they really favor upper body strength- I would say that a woman would have to be incredibly lucky to beat a similarly sized and skilled man.  I'm not saying that it's impossible; simply that it's unlikely given (a) the way women tend to build muscle compared to the way men do and (b) the way men are socialized to fight versus the way women are (ie- socialized NOT to fight).

    Have you tried contacting her?  She has a dA account, among other things, and (at least in my experience) she's not an unreasonable woman, provided you aren't unpleasant to her or disrespectful of her.

    Maybe a place to mention the various blogs and dA sites that authors use to publish their works?  I mean, obviously, there's brawna, but a lot of authors have their own sites as well.  I maintain my own dA site, and I know that Mr. Shhh has his own irregularly maintained blog.  Any others out there that anybody knows about?

    Personally, I think more men ought to be more vocal in their displeasure with the phenomenon of women getting tattoos… it would leave more of those women (or all of them) for guys like me.

    Actually, after the first round of judging we plan to allow the audience to vote as well; as for contributing additional prize money, we certainly want to encourage that- the more we can get from sponsors, the less we have to pay for all by ourselves. 😀

    Alternately, you could download and install the k-lite codecs pack…
