The avatar is Tigersan's Pam #20 from his FemPower website, Pam Gallery #1.  In case I haven't said it enough, Tigersan's 3D renderings may very well be the best in the biz.

First let me say THANK YOU ro everyone who took the time to respond to this post!  Especially PT, as the info on how long someone with shattered ribs would be held in the hospital is something I simply have no experience with.

I am planning on incorporating a meeting scene probably in Chapter 6 or 7, depending on the ideas I get.  So far, I'm kind of liking Titaneer's idea, so I may go with something like that (with a couple modifications to keep it all in line with the story.)

Some nice finds, there sludig.  How is it that you missed Scarlet, though?  She debuted at the same time as the baroness in the comics, and earlier in the toys (yes, I'm actually old enough to remember!) and was sort of the original ultra cool, super competent woman who could take on a capable man on even (or better) terms.

I'm borrowing a page from AlexG, here, and talking about writing instead of drawing (mainly because my drawings make stick figures look like technical masterpieces… :D)

The reasons I write about muscular women, though, are various.  First and foremost is simply that I enjoy a story with a strong, competent, capable woman.  There is a depressing shortage of such in mainstream literature, so I've felt compelled to create some of my own.

Another reason I write about muscular women is because they fascinate me-both as physically powerful people and as women (I've been fascinated with women pretty much since I realized there was a difference)-and the juxtaposition of what is traditionally considered to be the male role (the protector/provider/physically dominant person) with the traditional feminine roles (such as nurturer and caregiver).  Muscular women give me the opportunity to play around with those stereotypes, to blend them back and forth, and to use and discard them in new and interesting ways.

Finally, I'm vain enough to hope that my writing will someday inspire someone else to write a story or draw a picture or (dream of dreams) pencil a comic that features a character of mine.

Thanks, guys.  I truly appreciate it!

Yeah, just another day in the life.  Great start, keep it light.

Not to worry.  Although Sylph's life ain't exactly lollipops, it is set in a world where nothing really ee-vil is gonna happen.  You have my word.

I believe I remember reading this many moons ago on DtV, true?  I liked it than, and I still like it.  At any rate, I know it wasn't on Brawna…

Great story.  I've always liked it when people explain the true origins behind fanciful fairy tales ;D
