ParticipantI've noticed the same problem. If I spot an error in a post before anyone else has had a chance to comment, I can usually still modify it (the button is there), but if I don't spot the error until later, the button goes the way of the dodo. For example, I modified Chapters 1 & 2 of Second Chance in order to add paragraph indentations and italicize certain portions of the text, and had no problems. A couple of days later, when I noticed that I had put the QuikMart off of I-275, I wanted to go back and change it so that it was off of I-75 (near Lincoln Park, a much more likely area of Detroit for bad things to happen to good people in), but the button had disappeared.

ParticipantAnd echoing Mimi… ;D
Thank you to Lingster and to ALL the moderators who work to keep this site open and enjoyable. I've been a lurker for a good long time, but the spirit of this community has made me feel comfortable enough to start contributing, too. Thanks, again.

ParticipantThe only thing I don't like about Awefilms is the silly license issue on the videos. I can understand protecting your content, but my PC died last year, and I didn't have a chance to backup all of my licenses prior to it crashing, so I was out over $100 in lovely girl/girl content I had saved.
I had a similar issue when my last computer died. Fortunately, I remembered my login and the password I had used when downloading videos, so I emailed them with that info and they were able to hook me back up. It took some work, especially because my system configuration had changed, but they had records of all of the clips I had d/led, and we were able to work it out without me having to pay any more.

ParticipantThanks, Reaper. I know this is a bit of a departure from the usual fare, here, but I'm gonna try and keep it interesting.
Love Es, by the way, and the fact that she's Korean. Seems like Asian superwomen don't get nearly the attention they deserve!
Yaracyrrah, thanks. I'm glad you like it.

ParticipantI gotta go with the majority on this one. While I like BE to happen along with FMG, I do feel there is a practical limit beyond which it ceases to be sexy for me. Generally speaking, it is much easier for BE to be sexy in written word than in actual illustrations, too- probably because the mind is much more flexible than the eye.
In terms of illustration, I guess my ideal for sexy women would be tigersan's Pam gallery (check it out on his FemPower website)- she isn't the largest of the women he's built, either in muscles or in boobs, but she is among the most balanced, and I think that must be the key.

ParticipantOn the topic of superheroines that are relatively mainstream, I would also have to go with She Hulk. Check out the sequence in She Hulk, volume 3, Issue 8…
If, on the other hand, we're actually just referring to superstrong and buff, I would point out that many years ago, there was a little comic book company named Defiant, and they made a comic named, prosically enough, "The Good Guys." One of the characters in there was a young FBB who had acquired superstrength. It only ran for nine issues (sadly- and I only ever owned the first eight until my ex-wife got rid of them), but was good fun, all the same.

ParticipantOkay, first post. Love the topic so far and wanted to stick in my two cents.
Oddly, the vast majority of women I've spoken to about this subject, including my ex-wife, never expressed any interest or desire for FMG. Quite the contrary, in fact, most women were very quick to tell me how disgusting they thought it was, how unfeminine, etc, al. On the other hand, many women have told me that they liked the idea of having greater power. Go figure.
For myself, I know that I'm rehashing alot of what people have already said when I note that I enjoy FMG because it presents a visual depiction of a woman achieving her full physical and social potential. When it is combined with mental strength, that too is something I enjoy.
I will admit to enjoying virtually all of the strong woman fiction, including BDSM, although I have (for some strange reason) no desire to live one of those stories, thank you very much! I notice that most of the people to post on this thread have been in favor of the kinder, gentler amazon, which I also enjoy, as opposed to the vengeful and violent creature (ex: Reaperman's Monster scenes).
Is anybody interested in a similar thread asking, more generally, what everybody gets out of FMG stories, male and female alike? Or should we keep that topic in house, as it were?
