Terry68dParticipant
I very much doubt that Marvel is replacing the original. I think this is just a fun poster made up for the holidays. That being said, I don't share what seems to be a general dislike of Thundra's daughter. Some of that might just be attritubal to the notion that Marvel might "dump" She-Hulk in favor of this alternate-universe character. In any case, I think she does have potential, although she does seem redundant at this point (which is another reason there is concern that a big change could be in the works).
I'll always stick with the original, but if Marvel wants to do something more with "She-Thulk" (I like that, Alex) I'll at least take a look.
Terry68dParticipantHi Pixie of the Deadly kind! I wasn't expecting such an excited reception, but I'll take it. ;D
I've been pretty well – almost done with my degree, finally. I have been working on stories here and there, too. Oh, and thank you very much for your comments on the last one I posted a while back! I am working on two different Anya stories at the moment, between work, homework and the countless other distractions that pop up. I hope to have at least one done before the end of the year, so be watching for it. 😉
How have you been? And, to keep this post at least a little on topic, I approve of your choices of footwear to outgrow. 8)
Terry68dParticipantI remember seeing that image on Al Rio's website – he draws an excellent She-Hulk! Oh, and I guess his Hulk isn't too bad, either. 😉 I was able to pick up a commission from him a couple of years ago or so of She-Hulk and it's one of the best pieces in my collection.
Nice finds there, ze fly! Jen definitely seems to be a popular subject for artistic rendering which is ok by me, and you're a pro at finding them.
Terry68dParticipantThat's a good question. Perhaps it would depend on the lady's disposition? If she wants to show off her new height, muscles, etc. then no clothes at all works really well, or something very clingy and revealing without being too revealing if she wants to keep a little for the imagination. If she's afraid or ashamed of her new size then it's a different story altogether. I'd think she'd prefer to find something – anything – to use as makeshift clothing. If she's a super-heroine than a uniform is in order.
I guess the bottom line is this: I'll let her wear anything she wants to. 😉
Terry68dParticipantI've used all kinds of footwear in my stories, from cross-trainers to knee-high boots to open-toed, high-heeled clear pumps (for you, DP), and they all produce different effects on the grow-er. I think I prefer simple canvas or leather walking shoes best, though, because I like how they slowly reveal the size & shape of the feet growing within them before bursting apart.
Terry68dParticipantA drunk monkey on the loose with a growth ray? Sounds like a sure receipe for mayham to me. I'm guessing you'll be writing down all of its adventures, Magnus? 😉
As for the type of trigger I prefer, I like strong emotion the best. There's something about the lady in question having a personal connection to the growth/change that gives it a sense of intimacy.
