My question is …

Why when it comes to female characters becoming muscular the artist/producers skip the muscle growth montage. But when a male character grows muscular you get a elongated growth montage?

The best montage I have seen was on squidbillies episode anabolic-holic, where the junior squid is shot up on horse steroids and becomes huge. This spans a reasonable portion of the episode, shame they don’t believe in sex equality 🙂

(Although the gran is shown at the end of the episode in a few frames as equally jacked up – suppose thankful for any female muscle in main stream cartoons we can get)

I agree with that. I ask my friends who dislikes the show but I watched it 2 years ago…I’m like meh,10 years when original Teen Titans series premiered. It like a 10th anniversary of the show. In the 2013 TV series is a spin-off comedy show for younger audience.
