The Muffin man
ParticipantI like this guy, because despite the fact his FIRST POST was advertising, he made an effort to find the right place, and explain "Sorry, first time poster. I hope this is okay."
That means he:
A.Has a brain.
B.Uses it.Winning combination. Welcome to the boards, Fellow Mike ๐
I'm The Muffin Man. Resident Lovable jackass. If someone says I'm not lovable, ignore them and ask Ritz or Kulli ๐The Muffin man
ParticipantShe's like our own personal Jenna Jameson.
No matter how much you can't stand her(like me :P) the moment she does something REMOTELY sexual (or in this case, muscle related) you're entranced.

ParticipantI don't doubt that jdm022's numbers are about right, what I doubt is the conclusion. Many limb movements rely on leverage to multiply the force exerted by the muscle. Thus strength is often partly dependent on bone length.
On top of that, while working out makes the muscles stronger, bodybuilders aren't going for STRENGTH. They are going for size, definition, symmetry…
In fact, I read somewhere that a bodybuilder is at their WEAKEST during contest time, since they are basically starving themselves to make the muscles show through.Meanwhile, in the off-season, they are not worrying about eating something that will "mask" their hard work. They are worried about properly fueling their muscles.

ParticipantOh wow there were responses I never addressed, my bad I'll get to it.
Mimi – no one has come to me for scripts but they have asked me for DVDs, posters, merchandise etc. Sure we can talk off board sometime, you just let me know when and where and wha bam.
As for the comment about the Terrible reviews not taking chances that it was a coincidence….
Well,
Just recently we read the box office hits and saw that the reviews for "The Gameplan" were terrible. Yet that was the number one movie which beat out Rendition which was with a much higher production value and supposedly quality. Hollywood tries to make what mainstream wants, so though it's easy to point the finger at hollywood, sometimes it's the people who encourage them to release more bad movies.
Keep in mind, it's all in how you spin it.
If a movie is doing terribly, but it's the only new movie out that week in every theater?
"Number 1 movie in America". Because it's very hard to make less in your opening week then movies people have seen.
If that doesn't work? "Number 1 family movie in America". Same deal, only this time you narrow the margin down so it's really ONLY you and a movie out since late August. On top of that, sometimes reviewers don't know what they are talking about. Roger Ebert blasted Fantastic Four (the first one). Now, that's rather justified. His reasons for hating it?
Invisible Woman was a ripoff of Storm and Human Torch a ripoff of the Flash.
You read that right.
That was his biggest gripe. The Muffin man
ParticipantLook, when you make millions back on a movie even if it gets TERRIBLE reviews, you can't take chances that it was just a coincidence.
Or something.
I dunno, my IQ is higher than 6, so I can't think like a Hollywood exec. The Muffin man
ParticipantJust another victim of DC's annual culling. ALL the NEW GODS are going to die! And next year will be some other poor sap. Last month Wizard mentioned this event in their "Final Crisis" article. Silly rabbits. Sony has over ten "Final Fantasy" games. The 'final' part never stopped them from doing it again.
Actually, Sony has ZERO Final Fantasy games.
And the FINAL fantasy name comes from the company(Squaresoft, now Square-Enix). Sony has nothing to do with it's success, as the series started on NINTENDO'S console) is that it was supposed to be their last game, as the company was bankrupt so it was their FINAL FANTASY game. They ended up hitting it huge however, and the franchise was born.

ParticipantLooks spot on to me, P4WN'd.
And I want one, too, Lingster. Is this where the line and the pre-orders start?
If it's anything like the REAL Wii, you might wanna get there early or you'll be waiting a while ๐
Also, I think someone at the mag is "one of us", so to speak.
The PS3: Flimsy little male model. Pretty, but who cares?
The XBox 360: Big buff bodybuilder man. Strong, hard, but eh. Lots of dudes are buff.
The Wii: Big sexy Tami Wooden. Clearly the superior console(and thus the superior body!)The Muffin man
ParticipantSo does he still charge people for copyrighted work that he didn't create?
Seriously, because if so I'm boycotting this site.

ParticipantAmy was the freak of the crew, right?
In the sense that she was the most 'normal', yes.
Well, as normal as a super-rich chinese valley girl can be ๐
She was more the "klutz" than anything else.

ParticipantMy problem with the XTreme strength sites is that it tends to be basically just porn stars badly superimposed onto a car accident with some stupid caption.
Like "CANDYS MIGHTY MUSCLES LIQUEFIED THE CAR LIKE JELLY" when the car is barely crushed, let alone "liquefied".And they tend to be bad writers who insist that swearing is a good replacement for emotion.
So instead of "Her body was in a fit of pleasure and pain as her muscles swelled, a burning sensation growing deep within." We get "her cunt was so fucking hot cuz she was gonna cum all over this bitch." or something.๐ Picky? Pfft. Never.
