Yeah, all the reason why it's sad that she's disappeared from the scene.

If it's a really stellar project and I've got the cash to spend, sure I'll spend on it.  But lately there hasn't been anything that has really WOWED me enough to warrant purchasing.  So I just make my own projects and that keeps me happy enough.

    P.S to Cashews

Don't need art class to be able to draw well, just need to practice, practice, practice!

Well you can ask Gribble if he's still hanging around here how to do it.

Generally you do pay pal or money order to get comics but the thing is, and I can almost guarantee this.  Most people in this community will NOT be making that many purchases on FMG comics for one reason.

Most of the time these comics can be posted online for the rest of the world to see even if they haven't paid for it.

The only person who has SUCCESSFULLY sold comics like that is "The Manic" and he seems to be making a nice profit from his commissions, but at the same time he delivers high quality work.  Anything less than Manic quality will probably not net you that much cash, but if you want to give it a shot go for it.

FMG comics to buy on the internet are a rare breed but there are a few you can buy, not really sure where you can get them though.

I'll try to help out, but my familiarity in poser is very small.

If the animation in poser works the same way as animations in after effects, then what you will have are key frames.  If it's something as simple as move from point A to point B the keyframes would look something like this on the timeline:

    Example:

    @==========@

If you are adding more motions into the animation, so instead of going from point A to point B it's more going from point A, through B, all the way to C it would look something like this.

    @=======&========@

If it's nothing like that and goes frame by frame, yikes I don't even want to start explaining that!

In order to get something to STOP, you usually have to put it into a new or different timeline, meaning that if you put all the animations in one single swoop.  The animation will just keep going through without any sense of stopping.

So if you wanted the animation to stop and have something like this…

@======@  if you continued to add more animations after that, it will look something like this@=====&====&=====&======@

But you can see the problem with that method.  If you wanted it to stop, it's just not going to happen because it's going to keep playing through.  Think of it like a local train or express train, with two keyframes you're taking the express.  But with multiple you're taking the local train and making stops along the way, but either way you're still going to make it to your destination.

If you want it to stop, you need to switch to another train and continue from there, does that make sense?

    Now as for file formats:

Unless people have quicktime installed which surprisingly some people don't, the quicktime mov format might not be so easy to transfer.  The smallest filesize you can get is called MPEG 2 format, which is a significantly compressed version of the file, but the quality remains somewhat intact.  AVI will give you the highest quality you can get but will also give you an enormous file size.  I made one animation in after effects and the whole file, which was only maybe 15 seconds was 300 megabytes.  So you really need to play around with some compression tools to get it smaller.  Also keep in mind that the size of your screen will make a difference, if you export in 1600×900 or whatever the number is, that resolution will carry over into your movie and make the file size HUGE.

Standard TV format is 720 x 480 (NTSC in the US, PAL in other European countries)

You will want to shrink it down to that file size to avoid enormous file size problems.

Well that's all I can think of, hope that helps!

    Adam, a few things.

In his description he says that he did not draw that and that his artwork is coming later.

Also, that picture was drawn by Gideon who seems to have vanished into his own thing.  Probably posting at macrophile or something like that, I wouldn't know.

First you gotta climp up the reverse treadmill ramp, remember that thing with the red and blue arrows pointing downward?  Yeah gotta climb that thing first to reach the platform.

Once on the platform you need to get on the ceiling bike pedals, so that instead of using your legs your using your arms and hands to pedal across.

Then you cross the rolling platform which has punching bags swinging back and forth, if you fall off you will end up face to face with a gladiator that will slow you down.

Then you climb up the net to reach the zip line up top, once you reach the zipline you obviously zip down and drop onto a safety mat.

After dropping down you jump some hurdles and then pick a "door" to run through labelled 1 through 4.  If you pick the wrong door you will be blocked by a gladiator.

Pass the doors and you win the game.

Now if you're going on the eliminator from later seasons.

Instead of hurdles the competitors have to scale a brick wall using a rope, I've seen many contestants fail that one compared to the previous seasons.

But that is the eliminator event in a nutshell.

Here are other games listed on Wikipedia:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Gladiators

I only remember sky track where they race on a ceiling track.

Because sometimes the people who look the role don't have the talent to pull it off.  If someone can visualize the person as a character just by changing a few things, they'll go with the blonde over one who fits closer to the role.

    Here's a good example:

I auditioned two actresses for an independent project I'm working on.  (Not my animation) and I met with an actress who would more closely fit the "look" than the other actress.

The one who closely fit the look didn't give off that kind of spark, she didn't make me believe she could be the character.  Her acting was solid but it just didn't feel like she was the one I was looking for.  Where as the other girl who doesn't look like the character at all gave me the sense of that magic spark that SHE'S THE ONE I want to cast for the role and so I did.

There's much more depth into casting that most people realize, even in hollywood land which is all about profit.  Though usually they cast based on how popular the actress is, but sometimes they make exceptions if they really fit the role well.

I doubt this blonde will be a permanent addition anyway, but we'll see.

    Guys for the last time.

Height is not an issue in Hollywood.  There are so many camera tricks to make a person taller that some celebrities look taller than they actually are.  Tom Cruise is a good example of someone who looks damn tall in some movies.

Let's not forget Lord of the Rings, Gandalf in real life was the same size as Bilbo Baggins, yet Bilbo looked like a "hobbit" compared to him, even though they are the same size.

Height is NEVER an issue unless the character looks like she's small.  For instance you would never mistake colette guimond as a tall woman even if she were made to look that way, because her body is very compact and simply looks short.

Where as you can't make someone that's lanky look like she's short because of the length of her arms.

    Also!

Even though she's blonde she has some good facial features for Wonder woman.  A little hair dye and she could possibly pull off the look.

Eliminator, the huge obstacle course at the end of the game.

Cannonball, competitors have to try to knock gladiators off the podium.

Powerball, basically a form of football with some harsh tackles, the one who gets the balls in the most bins wins.

Assault, player can grab weapons to shoot a bullseye over the gladiator, or pass the finish line, they must not get hit by the balls shot at them.

The wall, competitors must reach the top of the wall without being pulled down by a gladiator.

Hang 10?  Don't remember the name.  Player must navigate from one end to another by swinging on olympic rings.  While at the same time avoiding the gladiator trying to hunt them down.
