Great video, that was awesome. My hope for humanity remains strong.
TC2ParticipantThe difference is, WWE stars have to perform on the road. If they let themselves get out of shape, they increase their chances of getting hurt. Just like athletes who play sports train all the time, so do WWE stars.
Acting is not the same thing. When you’re acting, you’re only training for ONE role. Sometimes you have to play an emaciated character, sometimes you have to play a fat character, and sometimes you have to play a normal character. Actors need to stay lean and healthy, but being muscular will deprive the of roles not give them more.
TC2ParticipantAt least Alicia Vikander – Tomb Raider, put on some visible muscle. Brie’s got nothing going on.
TC2ParticipantThat voice is TERRIBLE! Ugh, jeez. Well, I’m still glad to see She-Ra back in action but damn, what terrible casting.
TC2Participant@Spain_38
For a game called “crazy rampage” that character design doesn’t really strike me as a “rampaging” woman. Looks more appropriate for a Simpsons knock off, no offense. The design also lacks in detail of the muscle groups.
TC2ParticipantBack when I was first starting out in femuscle, I had always wanted to figure out how to ROM HACK the Incredible Hulk game so that I could paint over Hulk and replace him with She-Hulk or Grey She-Hulk. Sadly, Rom hacking was way over my head and I had to take the consolation prize of using the transformation sequences as references for my animations.
I’m glad to see that you found a use for the Hulk animations in your work in progress.
TC2ParticipantMy suggestion to you is to keep fleshing out the game first and foremost. Artwork can always be added in later along with sound effects. Once you get it to a state where you can have gameplay then I think people will want to volunteer to help you get some artwork done. I wish I had the time like I did back in the old days because I would have loved to contribute the muscle girl sprites. Especially if I could have drawn variations so people can choose their character.
Muscle girl with pecs, blonde muscle girl, she-hulk, etc.
But the first priority is to get the game in a basic, playable state.
Now it’s entirely up to you, but it has been in my experience that you want to keep your rough, “grey box” stuff private. Because what will happen is in the very beginning, you may get an overwhelming amount of unnecessary, negative feedback.
If you needed ideas for the game, that’s one thing. But if you know what you want to build and you’re simply trying to build it, then work on it behind closed doors and show us more stuff as it gets refined and fleshed out. That way you won’t feel discouraged from working on your game.
Wishing you the best of luck!
TC2ParticipantThat is pretty cool! I like the level of destruction and abilities you’re adding to the game! Who knows, if you make enough progress with your game maybe some artists will make femuscle sprites for you?
Since it’s about rampaging, I think an FMG element would be a lot of fun, but that’s just me. I hope you can continue with the progress.
TC2ParticipantThere was a video on Youtube which pointed out the 3 times Rey should have died in the sword fight and criticizing the lack of proper technique. The stunt coordinator clearly didn’t do his homework when training her on how to fight properly.
TC2ParticipantMaaaaan…
So, I greatly enjoy stories with strong female characters. And Jennifer Garner does have some nice muscle tone on her arms, not huge but noticeable.
But damn, I hated the music they picked for the trailer and I really dislike her as an actress. She’s so flat and boring and lacking in personality. Also, when I was watching this trailer I immediately thought of The Punisher and how his family was killed by a crime ring.
Feels very . . . been there done that. Especially since it was directed by the dude who did Taken.
