so you mean work on hair clothes etc.? background and that kinda thing?

I meant bump mapping, displacement (veins, muscle ripples, etc.) that adds alot of realism.
also try to play with material room in Poser. There are effects that help skin to look more
realistic, not like plastic. Its called "Edge Blend" try to find some tutorials on
http://www.renderosity.com they re free, and lots to choose from. 😉 Good job keep it up.
