lol, it's like the whole "I found Ray Palmer!" except it's more about finding a big orange skinned, mohawk sporting amazon. I'd much rather find one of those than Ray Palmer, even though he has a greater shot of saving the universe than Rampage.

ParticipantWell, I suppose having your entire planet blown up means that you can stand on the masthead of your starship for the whole trip home and not have to worry about breathing once.
I'm sure there's a Chuck Norris inspired joke here pertaining to the Hulk's ability to breathe in space, but I'm not going to make it.
Chuck
ParticipantYes, quite true about "how the heck did you get them to fit??" I've used Tailor before on some articles of clothing but it usually distorts the clothes so bad in places it's almost better off to ghetto rig it with other morphs.
Chuck
ParticipantThank you. I will carry on! 😀

ParticipantPAD = Peter David?
Chuck
ParticipantAnd pretty soon, we're stuck in that episode of Futurama where Frye, Zap Brannigan, and that little alien guy are sentenced to 'Death by Schnoo-Schnoo!'
Where we'd have our faces alternate between exhilarating pleasure and the shock of being executed.

ParticipantBut it is so true… there is nothing quite like having a scrumptious, massive behemoth to make love to.

ParticipantPlus, you have to wonder why of all the stories they showed of Superman's character evolving throughout the years, why pick this one of him going head to head with a big half naked amazon? Not that I'm complaining, but it did make me wonder.
For instance, it really is an odd assortment of tales that they've put in here. They have his first story from Action comics (always a crowd pleaser), then they retell his origin story, then the Rampage bit, and finally his origin story again and then a few cool covers.
No Lex Luthor. No Brainiac. If I was going for a comic that showcased him throughout the years, I certainly wouldn't have put a story about Rampage in there, especially since it takes up the bulk of the comic.
You can't say that they were doing it to ape She-Hulk because there's no mention of Rampage on the cover, so the casual person would pass by it and the die-hard Superman reader would take it and go, "Rampage? WTF, mate!" So Rampage certainly isn't a selling point…
Any ideas? It's still a nice reprint :).
Chuck
Participantlol, it looks more like she's shocking the amazon with a piece of cabbage, although it does make for an entertaining image. Point taken though. Arresting imagery and proof that no woman can resist a good kiss.

ParticipantThanks for the heads-up titaneer, but thankfully I have the original comic where rampage first appeared.
Lucky! Although a reprint of it is still nothing to make light of 😉
