ParticipantGAR!
Betsy got built!
Getting… light headed…
*passes out
Great spoof man. I'd read every backissue I could find, and I'd pick up the Betsy comic too ;D

ParticipantI'd like to get to the point where I can do commission work, but as Prophet Tenebrae said, "Poser is a harsh mistress," and I'm inclined to agree.
However, doesn't stop a fellow from trying ;D

ParticipantPart of the reason someone may not mention power in the first place is because power is an unspoken thing. One doesn't question its existence, it's just there. Not mentioning in the first place is a way to safeguard that creeping feeling some of us have that we don't have power.
For some of us, we would like it if power could be a switch we could just flip and suddenly have it, like a woman (sometimes commonly identified as frail) who wants to be truly uber and in doing so grows to tremendous size…
Something Alex said also bears mentioning, I think. What is it about FMG and GTS but not SW that some might find uncomfortible? It probably couldn't hurt to keep this discussion still in the hypothetical, because the last thing anyone wants is to say why something makes them uncomfortible lol.
Also, what are more reasons why some women hide the empowerment drive like Hunter said?

ParticipantEverything has its limits for some people, and for some they just can't get big enough. I have to agree with a lot of my fellow posters that when a woman can't move because she's too big, that's a cut off point. How enjoyable can it be for her if she can't move?
I know my ideal amount of muscle and breasts would seem tiny for some, but that's just what I like :).

ParticipantWho is that she's with? Don't tell me that's Namor. ???
1. Don't panic. 😉
2. It's not Namor. It's Eros from Titan, and in this particular panel Shulkie was contemplating whether or not Eros had used his powers to make her want to *ahem* have relations with him.

ParticipantOh, that's all cool SyberStyk lol. Naw, that question about preference wasn't on my mind ;D, but I appreciate you for posting your response.
I'm just a newbie around here but a long time FMG/BE fan, although I'm sure if I ever posted any of my 3D stuff here (strict beginner stuff, mind you), I'd probably get criticized for not making the gals big enough lol. Nevertheless, I gotta admit I love anything that makes breasts swell to massive size along with creating very nice creative wardrobe malfunctions. So woot for FMG for me!
But I suppose I wanted to post the question because I do have a couple platonic friends that really enjoy my stuff and one went so far as to propose Valentine's Day as a day for hulking out to relieve anxiety. So… the question of women liking FMG piqued my curiosity.
He he, blood flowing south… we don't know why it does it but we just like it :D.

ParticipantOh that Stan Lee! The man who gave us She-Hulk.
Monstress, now there is a name/concept someone around here totally needs to have some fun with. It'd be cool!

Participantlol I do remember that advert, Sammi! However, I saw it in a print magazine, not on TV. So, if Silent One saw a different commercial and it was on TV… then I guess either the same marketing guru thought it'd be nice or two different people came up with the same idea.
Problem is, I don't remember in which magazine I saw the advert. Maybe Men's Health? It's the only mag I read on a regular basis that would have energy drink advertisements.

ParticipantAh, that's cool, AlexG. I was just wondering why the genre's female fans do like it. I think we all know the prevailing view that women feel muscles and the like as unfeminine (cries) but what I was looking after was the reason for the minority view.
And it's also cool for guys to post their hypotheses as well. The site's female lurkers can continue to lurk to their heart's content! That's fine by me.

ParticipantI can't pin down a real first time dream/fantasy (I certainly wish I had more dreams lol) but I can definitely remember the first time I saw FMG and really liked it.
It was Jim Lee's Gen 13 comic, the original series. In the first issue, computer geek Caitlin Fairchild got really, really mad, her body felt like it was on fire, and one two-page spread later, I was hooked. Loved clothes ripping and FMG ever since, even before I knew it had an acronym lol.
Also, always loved Daryl Hannah in that movie too ;D
