ParticipantI’ve always been able to separate the two. I don’t care about the political views of anyone in Hollywood; if they produce good films I can watch and enjoy them. With today’s media getting as deep into the personal lives of stars as they can, you will be able to find something objectionable about almost every star out there. And while it is common for people to place greater stock in the opinions of famous people, the truth is that being a good actor or singer (or whatever else) doesn’t mean you have the foggiest idea what you are talking about in areas outside of your particular expertise.

ParticipantI’ve been telling people for a couple of years now that the personal computer of the future will be a letter-sized screen that folds up and fits in a shirt pocket, with an all-in-one CPU and battery the size of a postage stamp. I’m hoping that I’ll be alive when the earliest versions appear and people wonder why anyone would want “a slow computer the size of an iPhone with a lousy fold-out screen.”
Gads, I remember playing Pong in 1977…

ParticipantSorry to hear it, Ashlee. 🙁
The bunny character keeps evolving in terms of appearance, but her backstory is pretty much set. Now I just need to sit down and crank out some pages, though it would be a while before she makes an appearance in the stories I’m planning. I really need that vacation. :S

Participantcan we see a short girls or boys or group of them feeling a femdragons flex muscle???
I have a couple of simple sketches of this, but nothing finished. Work has been a real bear the last few months, and only in the last two weeks have things even begun to slow down. I have a long vacation coming in November and hope to start drawing regularly again around that time.
I have started to sketch and draw again, and have about a half-dozen drawings that I could scan and post, and will try to do that next weekend if not sooner. I’ve got one or two stories to draw for the guys at Pronto, and then I’ll be able to dive into my own stuff. I am already writing a few stories and will create some layouts when time permits.
Until then I’ll try to visit here more often than every three or four months (geez…) and will try to get my dA gallery updated a bit more often as well.

ParticipantI wound up getting the trade paperback of the Cho/Adams issues, even though I already had them. I have all of the issues drawn by Ed McGuiness as well. Marvel managed to find a trio of artists who had no problems drawing She-Hulk with a good amount of muscle tone. I was always a big fan of John Byrne, but his She-Hulk was tall, not muscular.
And Frank Cho doesn’t neglect the largest muscles of all; look at the backside on those women! :woohoo:

ParticipantGood heavens, I can’t believe it’s been this long since I added anything to this thread. o.O
Quick update: I’m very busy these days, as we are moving our offices and I’m one of the people neck-deep in the process. I was working with a local group of comics creators (Pronto Comics) and did some work for them but had to stop because I’m just too busy. I do plan to create my own comics work before the end of the year, but will withhold details until I actually have something to show. In the meantime, I have not been very busy over the past year and a half, but I did manage to post a few drawings at dA:

ParticipantMan, I remember reading those back then, when I bought the magazines as an art reference. MD was the one I made sure to pick up regularly, and it was entirely due to the Max Rep comic. Great work, and it’s held up well over the years as I see the samples you posted.
It would be great if he were to produce new stories.

Presenting mediocrity as awesome. Pathetic and stupid things as groundbreaking.
I think just the opposite, this is very groundbreaking stuff for the film and special effects industry. The ability to have a computer basically restructure a filmed element in 3D and throughout a scene is very impressive and will only get better with time.

ParticipantI don’t know if this has been posted before here or elsewhere (it was posted on YouTube in May) but I just stumbled upon it. It’s a short video of an Asian FBB (appears to be Tomoko Kanda) posing in a shirt and spandex leggings, probably in off-season shape.
