    Also, because I am a pretentious bastard, I'm going to link to my current journal entry which has some thoughts and advice on how a piece of artwork can tell a story, and why this matters to an artist.

    I wasn't initially going to link it, because I figured it would seem pretentious.  Then I decided that if there's anything worse than a pretentious bastard, it's a pretentious bastard who doesn't embrace his, erm… bastardhood.  Or something like that.  So I decided to tap my inner Fett and link to it.  Seriously, though, I'd be interested in comments and thoughts and opinions, etc.

    It may take some time before I have these finished, so I decided I'd put up some works-in-progress images.

    My next Maidens 2009 submission:

    I figure it's a sort of rite-of-passage for femuscle artists to draw certain characters (She-Hulk, Titania, Power-Girl, Wonder Woman, etc).  I plan to cover them all at some point, and this is the first of the lot.

    That makes sense Maitolasi, if the suit was too restrictive it could lead to a pretty bad injury.  Not just from the possibility that the suit tears and causes a sudden weight shift, but I would imagine the added stress of trying to lower the arms while handling such heavy weight could cause some pretty bad joint injuries.  I wouldn't want my shoulder to give out when it's holding 500+ pounds just inches above my torso.  :'(

    Guys – put your arms down at your sides and check it out – her arms are NOT too long. I think this might be real (but then, I am a dreamer).

    I was under the impression that he had used some kind of scaling function, like Photoshop has.  Seeing the original image seems to confirm that.  That's why her arms appeared to be the right length and yet so disproportionately large.

    That's a great morph if it kept us wondering this long. 🙂

    PS- that's quite a camel toe she's sporting, BTW. O.O
