ParticipantThat's a pretty amazing transformation in six months. It speaks to a level of dedication that I think anyone should admire, even people who make cheap cracks about her appearance. Then again, some people see a woman looking that awesome and they feel inadequate, so they need to try to tear her down in order to feel better about themselves. That, or they're just idiots. She looks terrific in that photo.

ParticipantYou Awefilms guys must be hell to work for. 🙂
I see that fifth photo and I imagine that she's pointing at her bicep and saying "you see this little portion of my bicep? That was the only part that I was using when I beat you in arm wrestling!"

ParticipantShe's very attractive and a half-decent actress. If I was counting on her to solve a quantum physics question, I'd be disappointed. I am mostly counting on her to look attractive and provide half-decent acting in movies that aren't ever going to be recognized for anything but violence and half-decent acting.

ParticipantThis is something that has always been on my mind when writing or putting together stories. Trying to at least make the victim(usually a guy) deserving of getting throughly trashed by some muscular amazon. I've tried the mild-mannered domination(or at least seduction scenario) a few times but it usually proves more popular if the fem is really over-the-top with her dominating(as Reason said it is just fantasy).
This is an issue for so many of the "one man army" type of action films that became so common during the 80s, as Schwarzeneggar, Stallone, Seagal, Van Damme and others mass-produced high-octane action flicks as fast as they could. The stories had to be simple and easy to explain (so the action could start sooner) but they also had to make sure that the 'hero' was seen as a kind and gentle soul who had to be pushed into the role of unstoppable and hyper-violent killing machine.
So you wound up with the same type of story, of a man who has a past as a high-level government agent ("he was THE BEST") who attempts to retire and get in touch with his inner Mother Theresa, who is forced (FORCED, I say!) to return to his violent roots when the bad guys simply make it impossible for him to live a life of quiet contemplation on the farm. Why bother trying anything different? The audience just wanted to see someone hit so hard that his eyeballs would burst.

ParticipantThe cover art on those two issues is excellent.
So these are anthologies with lots of short stories by various creative teams? Do you know if there are any books with a more consistent creative team? I know that there aren't many taboo comic book subjects in Japan, and FBBs sound like something that would be popular enough to support a regular comic.
I wouldn't mind seeing more stories that focus primarily on strength and less on sex. Granted, there's an undeniable sexual factor at work in the topic of female muscle (IMO, anyway) but I think it would be there no matter what. And writing more broad and different types of stories might draw a more diverse audience.
Thanks for the link and the review. 🙂
