I don't get what's the purpose of that kind of a lift. Some might have problems with last phase of the pull and they need to do "High-deadlift" but this movement is so short and weight so much higher than in a standard deadlift that I don't think that's the case now.

    Grip and and upper back?

I'll believe that one when I see the video. On her AMG page where this claim is made is a photo of her  with a "mere" 225 lbs on the t-bar row which belies this fantasy. The look of strain on her face does not make her appear to be working up to substatially heavier sets. My apologies if I am wrong. If she can do it that is unreal, mind blowing wonder woman level strength.

same here. She is a good deadlifter but not that good. Only Becca Swanson might be able to do that kind of set.

Has she already got a pro card? Most definetively she is one of rising stars at least in my eyes.

Mariya Abakumova won javelin throw at the IAAF World Athletics Tour Golden Spike meeting in Ostrava, Czech Republic, with 66.89 m. It seems to be a good season in women javelin throw since top three, Abakumova; Obergföll and Spotakova, have all won one meeting where they've all been. Although Mariya might still need to more consistant since her performances have varied quite a much.

Man – This must be a bigger issue than I thought.

Every thread here gets that much views. And for the topic, I agree here with the others. If you want to watch them, why not pay. It's not so much money and you can support the industry.
