ParticipantTake look at Jean Sinclair's work. He's probably my favourite. Rob Phipps is another top artist.
Thanks for the hints! There seems to be so much material to explore, so it's now easier when one knows where to start. Looked very nice, especially Sinclair.

ParticipantI'm pretty green when it comes to this kind of artwork. Haven't really seen much, just a bits here and there before exploring this amazOns forum, so I have not built up any strong opinions of these yet. However, these wonder woman pictures truly got me from the first glance. It's difficult to explain why, actually, I can't even understand myself, but for example that Brien Cardello's picture is just amazing. Would really like to put that kind of picture in frames to the wall, but after that I'd just probably stare that all day long.
Really appreciate you seeing the trouble finding and to the drawers in painting these. Thanks for sharing.

ParticipantHave to put this one picture here. This is Finnish lifter Karolina Lundahl showing – well not quite you might call her best performance – but still pretty awesome move ;D The photo was taken during 2000 olympic games, as she was doing her third and final attempt. She lost her balance and didn't get any result. The picture was selected "the sportpicture of the year" in Finland that year.
She is world champion in 1994, 1998 and has several medal positions from different years. She also did shot put.

ParticipantWell let's have some more olympic lifters, shall we? I'm not sure about the stats and records, would take too much effort to check them. Correct me if I'm wrong.

ParticipantWow, that first lady totally does it for me, Mari(y)a Abakumova!!! She's my height but clearly much much much stronger than me!!! 😮
But Maria… Wowowowowowowowowowowowowo!!!!!!! ;D 😮 ;D 😮 ;D 😮 😮 😮
Well, she's been my favourite ever since I saw her for the first time as she rose to the international level in 2007. Very young for a javelin thrower, lots and lots of potential. Would really love to read about her training, lifts and so on (as you probably noticed, she has some muscle in her frame, so I guess she's not weak…rumours tell, that she can throw way over 60 meters without taking speed) but the Russians seem to keep those things often to themselves.
If you wonder about the name, sometimes it is written as Maria and other times Mariya…damn cyrillic alphabets.

Well from her website you can find a lot more pictures. Forgot to put it in previous post.
