Oops… I guess I shouldn't have brought it up here.  Sorry to hear about your troubles there.  Pity I can't edit my previous messages anymore.  😛

"Torture" me with details and explanations?  Ha. I think any backstory, as long as it's more than half-assed, enriches artwork. 😉

That's a dream I would love to support.  😀  And the shedding of the old body is definitely a transformation concept I haven't seen much of.  Think like a snakeskin, so it doesn't have to be squishy and gross.  At least not in my opinion.  😛

Agreed, lovely morph of a lovely woman.  She was the reason the first two Mummy movies were so rewatchable. 😉

Blue bikini, black hair would be my vote for the Muscle Star!

That woman is truly gifted in the looks and genes department.  I hope she continues for a long long while!

… Cashews, is that you?  Heh, it's funny, I was just asking FMF about the Veldt commission he displays as a sample, and if he had done any more sequences in that vein.

I’ve been a fan of BE and FMG for quite some time now, and I’ve been collecting the stuff for as long as I’ve had a regular internet access. Over the years I’ve joined various websites, browsed numerous forums and commissioned different artists. Like many people here, I probably spent an appalling amount of time simply browsing the web, looking for new material… and regrettably for those other More-Important-Things-To-Do-In-LifeTM, I’m still doing so.

You remind me of myself so strongly, it scares me. 😛

I applaud your generosity, though really, seeing the personal nature of this character, I would more than understand if you chose not to share her.  I certainly didn't think less of you for that.  Your money is yours to spend as you please.  Still, art is meant to be viewed, and the community is always enriched by more voices. 😉

Now it's my turn to thank you for posting!  More of Reiq's art please. 😀

Heh, sure, what's not to like?  We get to apply our analytical skills to one of our favorite aesthetic subjects!

Those are kind of freaky and cool at the same time.

Well, I consider freaky a good thing, so I'd consider that praise. ;D  I really wanted to see how much muscle FMF could pile on her frame without increasing her bone lengths, and he was happy to oblige!

    Again, thank you Trilliwig.

    You're welcome!

For those of you who get off on numbers, I used MuskelGrothe's awesome spreadsheet and did some measuring and crunching.

    Lina Before:
    Height: 5'4"
    upper arm: 9"
    forearm: 8"
    thigh: 20"
    calf: 18"
    Weight: 120 lbs

    Lina After:
    Height: 5'4"
    upper arm: 55"
    forearm: 23"
    thigh: 48"
    calf: 35"
    Weight: 580 lbs

    😀

Hi MuskelGrothe.  Many thanks for creating this useful tool!  I've been trying to apply it to a commissioned piece of artwork, and run into a couple issues for which I have questions.  ???

First, the example spreadsheet entries for the chest appear to use a width greater than the length (75 pixels versus 45 pixels).  Your diagram shows chest width as the measurement from collarbone to abdomen, while the chest length is the measurement across from side-to-side, so by the diagram, length should be greater than width.  Which is correct, or does it matter?

Second, your ratios width/depth for thighs, biceps, and calves don't give guidance for a normal, non-muscular woman.  I tend to use the ratios closest to 1 in that case.

Third, the weight sheet contains an input for Target weight in pounds.  Isn't that what we're trying to calculate?  So what purpose does that serve?  For now I've been putting in something that approximates 0.036 lb/in^3, erring on the low side for less muscular women and on the high side for more muscular women.

Also, I've put in a row for elliptical circumference using Ramanujan's approximation, which is

    pi*[3(a+b) – sqrt((3a+b)(a+3b))]

where a and b are the major and minor radii.  This seems to work out pretty well.  An example formula is

    =PI*(1.5*(C8+C9)-0.5*SQRT((3*C8+C9)*(3*C9+C8)))*$B18/$B17

which gives a circumference in inches.

Oh yes, I'd definitely shell out money for a site like the BE Story Club, but FMG-oriented.  There are a few stories there that involve FMG (especially Derob Jacobs's… read his stuff! *plug plug*), but it doesn't appeal to the entire audience, so it's in the editor's best interest not to include it everywhere.  I wonder if Tenebrae has the copious free time to start another site to address that.  ;D  Lack of FMG is probably the main reason I haven't subscribed to amysconquest yet, hint hint.

LHArt actually has a good amount of illustrated FMG material, but the stories tend to be on the shallow side.  I think there's definitely room for the more involved stories you tend to see at the BEStoryClub.

Still, we're straying from the topic, which is that girls growing more muscular is something that FMF does well.  And I hope to establish that more clearly with more commissions down the line!
