I stated an opinion and a (perhaps blunt) request that people try to not come off like self-righteous bigots. If that’s too much to ask for, well, I guess I can go my own way- as I did in the past when the bickering and general nastiness became too much to deal with- and you can continue to voice your opinions to whatever degree you wish, regardless of the bounds of good taste.
I will note, incidentally, that both Ashlee and DCM have made statements regarding their preference that women not get tattoos that didn’t read as an outright condemnation of the art of tattooing in general. Granted, I think DCM’s comments are still a little extreme, but at least he clarified his position as being his position and not a blanket statement that all tattoos under any circumstances were abhorrent. unkn0wnxParticipantY’know what? I’m somewhat offended by these hugely judgemental comments. Unless it is your body, who are you to be so openly hostile. You don’t care for tattoos on women. Fine. I can get behind that. On the other hand, comparing tattoos to vandalism is outright rude, not to mention wildly inaccurate. While I realize I am bucking the trend, I would say that, in the interest of good taste and reason, maybe y’all- and here I include our moderator- ought to moderate your stance just a bit.
