I’ve been on a nostalgia trip lately, checking out some old retro games. Right now I’m about to dig into Suikoden II (1998), considered by many to be a true classic among japanese rpg:s.
I can’t wait until I get to recruit Oulan, a well built bodyguard whose bare hands are among the deadliest weapons in the game.
In her introduction (at 3.00 below), she beats up a freaking dragon with her bare fists. Now that’s how you make an entry!

Personally, in this case I think the super-inflated muscles makes the characters look a bit disjointed and lumpy. I prefer the original mod.
Quick comparison:
I’ve also found an Ibuki mod, possibly by the same guy, but unfortunately the download link is a stone dead megaupload link:

von TungstenParticipantThanks, Alex. 🙂
It’s a nice piece of shopwork, though. I don’t think I ever would’ve noticed it was manipulated unless I’ve been told.
Ironically, there are some women who look photoshopped, but turn to be the real deal.
von TungstenParticipantWould like to know who this is:

Plenty of both positive and negative comments… Hard to know what to think.
Still, it’s pretty cool that they went and made a sequel rather than a reboot after three decades. That must be unheard of in the world of saturday morning cartoons. :cheer:
von TungstenParticipant*Bump*
A while back, Alejandro Mikros released the “Chun-Li Phour” mod for Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition.
It’s basically the same as the one for vanilla SFIV (see OP), but now there is also the added option called “Thunder strike” where Chunner’s legs are kept at their original, beefy size.

Love this mod. Chun-Li never looked more kick-asserific.
von TungstenParticipant”The Mysterious Cities of Gold”
Oh yes.
I purchased the big DVD box about a year ago and watched the whole thing all over again for the first time since i was a kid. Swashbuckling adventure, ancient civilizations, the Golden Condor, those tragic but nasty Olmecs… good stuff.
Three new seasons are apparently in the making, which is pretty awesome:
Three new seasons of 26 episodes each are confirmed and in production, as a co-joint venture between the television channel TF1, the French animation company Blue Spirit and Jean Chalopin’s company Movie-Plus Group. The first of these seasons will see the series moving to Asia. The design for the characters will be the same with some subtle upgrades of the animation. Jean Chalopin produces the show and acts as a creative consultant for the script, which is written by Hadrian Soulez-Lariviere from Chalopin’s own draft for the sequel; while Bernard Deyries reportedly serves as art director. New background music will be composed by Noam Kaniel. The first new season due is due to start airing on TF1 in September 2012.

Not 100% certain, but maybe Brenda Raganot.
Turned out to be 100% correct. Thanks a lot!
BTW – interesting choice in an avatar, von T. 😉 B)
I do my best. B)
von TungstenParticipantSo I’m wondering who this lady might be…
von TungstenParticipantJuri seems like a fun addition. Quick, vicious, left eye emitting purple light(?)… good stuff.
