Myself, I’d love to see an all-new Adventures of Sinbad, Jr. With that magic belt of his that grants him strength and size, it would be the perfect plot device for many an FMG transformation! 🙂

David, I believe that somebody already wrote a story about Jan getting the power bands of Space Ghost on DA (DrMuttonChops?).

Of course, a renewal of Popeye would be good if they had the quality of animation like they did in the later 40s/50s with Olive getting her share of the spinach.

George of the Jungle (2nd version) did have an episode with the redheaded girl getting huge muscles from some sort of special mud when she wanted a shortcut to getting fit.

Others I wouldn’t seeing remakes of would be the other Hanna-Barbara short cartoons like Young Samson and Mighty Mightor! They also have power transformation devices (bracelets and club respectively). As with Sinbad Jr., there would be plenty of room for more FMG.

That was a classic. I also loved the Roxie breast gag in there – everyone was physically identical to their mirror universe selves but her. The mirror Roxie was really busty, as if somehow the original small-breasted Roxie was somehow cheated by fate.

What I think actually transpired was that alt-Roxie had a boob job done to ridiculous proportions and regular Roxie never did which made it a very funny scene. 🙂

I’m not sure if I heard from Art Adams or not.

The AD&D comic was mostly drawn by Jan Duursema (I’m hoping I’m spelling the name correctly). Jan was a fantastic artist who seemed to like to draw the females on the buff side. Jan also drew some of the X-Factor series after Larry Stroman left the book around issue #90 or so of the first volume. Those were the issues were Polaris was drawn muscular and she told Doc Samson that she felt that she was too skinny I believe (or overweight I can’t remember ;x).

I’m going to order this and see how it is. It’s based on a Batman/Space Ghost type character who flexes a lot and gets his power from Corn Dogs!
He had a sidekick called HER and she had a VERY small cameo flexing in lethargic lad comics
    so I will see.

Let us know what it’s exactly about, Ashlee! 😀

I remember that series. I bought all of the issues before they discontinued the company. It was just getting very interesting when it stopped. She was big and brawny. Basically it was a bunch of kids sucked into a D&D type world. Sort of like the Guardians of the Flame series by Joel Rosenberg (great read – 10 books so far). One of the females in the group was corrupted into an evil witch type. Of course Letha falls for the nerdy semi-wizard male. 🙂

I was wondering if you’d ever get back to that site for short chapters. 🙂

Glad to see you back, old friend.

According to the Comics Continuum three days ago, the June issues of Incredible Hulk & Hulk will have the origins of both characters.

In Hulk #23 written by Loeb with art by McGuinness and a variant cover by Adam Kubert – “WORLD WAR HULKS RAGES ON! Not a dream. Not a hoax. The origin of the Red Hulk. ‘Nuff Said.”

In Incredible Hulk #610 written by Pak with art by Pelletier & cover by JRR with a variant by Adam Kubert – “WORLD WAR HULKS RAGES ON! THE ORIGIN OF RED SHE-HULK. And…the Return.” Whatever the return is. ::shrugs::

At least Pelletier will draw the origin of her. He should do a bang-up job and hopefully it will reveal who she really is.
