Actually, Tet-Chan can come out here to Vegas where they opened the first Playboy Club in a score of years last year. It might actually be the only one in the U.S. from what I can remember.

I came up with the idea of the story but most of the credit goes to FFF for the art and dialog. Also Lingster”s story Wilma’s Wish because its what inspired me to have the Transfer commissioned.

Wow, that’s a quick turnaround by you and FFF! Congrats on a nice short story! 🙂

Here’s an old one and one of the first to display femuscle. A strange tale involving the Molecule Man (before he became a real wimp) and a girl merging. It’s from Iron Man Annual #3 pages 24, 25, 31, 32, 35, 36, 40, 43, 44, The pencils are by Sal Buscema with the inks by Jack Abel who’s able (no pun) to temper Sal’s pencils (not my favorite artist).

I love this quote after the initial transformation: “But this being is NOT the Molecule Man anymore than it is Cynthia. Its stature, its musculature respond to the wand’s power. Its gender, however, does not.”

Okay, I remember the Leaping Weasel comic now. The cover jogged my memory on that one. 🙂

The others don’t ring a bell so that means I probably never saw them.

    Thanks.

I remember in Thing 2 in one Ben Grimm was being punched out by Thundra.
It was 1980 i believe I was really young, It was part of the Project Pegasus story line where she beats up the the Fem wrestlers Pound Cakes and Titania, screaming Mimi.

Then there was 1987 Leaping Weasel comics had a 2 issue run with Muscular Indian woman catfish and a huge and buff female called BABE. The artists of those books did Horny Biker Slut which had some muscular women in it.

More recently a comic called Bones about a female Bouncer and bodybuilder.

Ogenki clinic had a bodybuilder test the Doctors “Ah Hem” equipment against her well trained and Tone “Ah Hem” Muscles!

Captain America before issue 300 went up against the Sisters of Sin. I think it was 293.

Ashlee, I remember some of that stuff. The Marvel Two-In-One with the Thing was drawn by the one and only George Perez. It might have been his first regular work with Marvel other than guest artist work.

The only Babe book I know of is the one John Byrne did with the Legends imprint for Dark Horse Comics.

Is the Bones book the one that was made from Cool Cat Studios which is the print version of the online comic? If so, she was an awesome character although Gisele did start drawing her thinner after coming back from her hiatus from the book.

    Ogenki I’m not familiar with.

Cap against the Sisters were okay. It was similar to when Free Spirit made her first appearance. Definitely not enough muscle for my taste. 🙂

Alex, nice scans. I mentioned previously that I believe that Sharon was originally supposed to be the new Thundra but it got scraped at the last second because the Thing comic was canceled after those issues you posted. Earlier in the year Marvel published a comic which showed what was to happen in the coming year. It was one of their fanboy comics but I cannot recall the name. Anyway, for the Thing comic they had a picture of Thundra along with others who were to appear in the book. Since she was a redhead and the original Thundra was gone from Earth, I made a logical conclusion. I’m not sure if someone mentioned something in the book also.

Regardless, they should’ve made Sharon more muscular like the other female wrestlers in issue #35. :/

    Thanks, Alex.

Now who to give the cookie to? Hmmm… well, maybe I can split it into smaller pieces and give it out. So many women, too little time. ::chuckles::

Thanks big Z. I could not remember the issue numbers. You’re better than me on that.
I like the concept of a She-Thing and Sue is drawn fairly sexy in both cases.
I wish they drew Ms. Marvel II sexier than a Ben Grimm with boobs.
DC’s Brickhouse was big and buff and sexy but the same depressive wonks as Ms. Marvel.
DC’s Donner was drawn really muscular but always hidden!!! They never showed her enough and portrait her as a lesbian! 🙂

Donner was a fantastic character with the DC Imprint Shadow Cabinet. A mainstream female muscle superhero. She was definitely large and in charge! I cannot remember the original artist off-hand but he did a great job on her. Unfortunately, they slimmed her down in later series for some unknown reason (to me anyway).
