Rich is a great resource for finding femuscle in animation.  I've talked with him many times in the past.  It gives us hope that there are probably more folks like him on the inside of the animation industry.

On a side note, at the time of Thing #33 where Sharon gets augmented, there was a preview book that depicted that Thundra was going to appear in the Thing's book.  Some detective work on my part made me think that Sharon was going to be the new Thundra.  Both being redheads and other factors made me believe that this was going to happen.  However, the book ended prematurely and the artist changed (maybe the writer also) and this plot angle never reached fruition.  :-

Great issue of What If?  Exactly what that series should've been all the time!  Unfortunately, she didn't grow more muscular as she should have.

In regards to the Hulk et al, Rogue has a problem absorbing beings with "unlimited" powers and others who are prepared for her ala Loki.  She could probably take Loki's powers but the one time that she tried, he was ready for her and she could not do it.

She could probably steal Hulk's or Rulk's powers but it would take a very long time or maybe if they were unconscious or sleeping.

Lmfao…I respect Ed Asner so much more than I did before after reading that. And I respected him a lot.

Well, let's just say that he did lots of VO work and I loved him as Lou Grant but his political leanings were a lot to be desired for my tastes.  :-X  🙂

I've always loved the Herculoids!  My favorite critter was Zok (which Mr. Matthews has already graced us with a drawing).

Of course, Johny Quest was the greatest cartoon ever created, IMHO!  😉

I do, however, remember that they included clips of a lady who did the voice for the main character of HEAVY METAL 2000. 

That would be Julie Strain who is married to Kevin Eastman, co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  I tried looking up the movie that you were inquiring about on IMDB but could not find anything.

Okay, I found the sketch drawing in my garage that Mr. Morges did way back and since there is no logo on it I am posting it here.

This is a post-transformation drawing of a very muscular Mary Marvel.  You'll have to excuse the slight discoloration on the pic as some water dripped on the paper.

I thought that this was one fantastic piece of artwork but Ed didn't think that it was that good.  I guess we'll see what the masses will say.
