Well, I believe I've found out why Mr. Phipps has slowed down on his artwork output.  He's currently working on penciling an internet comic strip entitled Sidechicks.

So far I haven't noticed any muscular ladies in it.  Robb started drawing the strip during the Just Business storyline on page 129.  Bill Williams writes and inks the story.

It was suppose to be a fill-in job for the last 14 pages of Just Business but he's started the next storyline which has four pages completed thus far.  The strip is updated on Wednesdays and Fridays.

The mysterious woman in today's strip looks a lot like Amazon.  Did I mention that Bill Williams and Robb collaborated on Amazon?  Bill Williams was/is with Lone Star Press.  😉

    Check it out.

"The Internet Is For Porn" is one of the funniest songs I've ever heard!  😀

I agree with you, David.  A friend of mine played the soundtrack CD for me two years ago and I laughed my ass off!  😀  I still have to go to the theatre to see the show but I will eventually do so.  🙂

I've got the entire series put away somewhere but I do have the trade paperback collection.  What a fantastic mini-series it was indeed.  If you haven't read it please do before the movie comes out.

I have a copy of the original screenplay that was done over 15 years ago and while it pretty faithful to the mini-series, it did provide an alternate ending from the tale written by Mr. Moore which was actually thinking-outside-the-box.  It was a different type of "good" than the original.

I'm pretty sure that the screenplay that's being used by Mr. Snyder is different than what I have.  I do like the preproduction that I've seen so far and I can only hope that they don't go overboard with the special effects.  I have great faith in this director to do it right.  🙂

Yeah, that was pretty cheap for the Wanna-Be's.  But the Femforce game went for over $68!!  😮

No matter what people say, you cannot nor should you deny the past.  People may wish to bury their heads in the sand but WWII had Nazis and there was a holocaust.

I say go ahead and show us the comic pages.  🙂

On a similar note, of something you don't see everyday, I once wrote one with a gal who transforms into a Gammazon She-Hulk, but then, later, has a second growth spurt (uncontrollable) and becomes a full flamin' GTS (100-foot range).

Mind you, she wasn't your nice and sexy sort, but an evil city-rampaging one, that as a highlighting moment wipes out a civic center hosting a comic book convention along with all of the attending fanboys.

I remember that story, Alex.  I thought that that was an excellent tale of growth and muscle.  I believe that was the tale of the woman who went insane as she became a She-Hulk type and then found that deity book to become a demi-goddess as it were.  At least I believe that that's the story I'm thinking about.  😛

The Lori Bowen one was with Rodney Dangerfield where Lori picks him up with the stool that he was sitting on.  It was a nice commercial for Lite Beer from Miller.  Most of the ads were very inventive during that time period.

But what you stated earlier, Delmo, sounds familiar.  There were a bunch of people lifting weights in the gym.  I can't recall which product it was off the top of my head.  ???

True.  Brom started immediately with Neera, the female barbarian from the Dark Sun AD&D world of TSR, who was pretty muscular and menacing.  Most of the denizens of the Dark Sun world were pretty muscular and savage as I recall.

It's about time that this product will finally see the light.  I've been waiting for a Champions RPG game for what seems an eternity.  I know that they advertised having a game back in the early 1990s but that whole project got bogged down and died.

Here's to them making having a successful launch and that it won't suck.  The Champions game system was truly the best of the superhero genre RPG games (pen and paper) that were out there.

Jeez, I leave for a week and all hell breaks loose!  ;D

As for me, I like this idea for a bumper sticker that I found here.

"The Least Repulsive Democrat Running"  😀

Oh, God.  Thank you for that one, David.  That made my day.  I'm going to share that with everyone I know.  😀
