Good to see that you're still around, Ed.  🙂

<< I really hope he can continue to write. Does he have any stories that haven't been posted? Would be awesome if you can get a hold of any. >>

Yes, Ed sent five stories over to me that were not quite complete but it's on my old PC where the HD decided to melt away.  I can probably find a way to salvage them but I would need special equipment that a friend of mine has.  Hopefully, one of these months I will get off my duff and do this task. :-

    << "Screw-up"
    http://www.thevalkyrie.com/stories/1misc16/screw-up.txt
A minor screw up winds up having a scientist tranfer the amped powers of the Hulk into his b*tch ex-wife. I've wound up occasionally daydreaming sequels to that story. >>

This story was written by Ed Delaney Jr.  He's the author of many a fine FMG tale including "Female Juggernaut" and "The Milk" (a different one than previously mentioned).  I "talk" to him occassionally and he told me what he has planned for that story.

He's actually plotted out a couple of sequels to "Screw-up" but he doesn't have a lot of time to write currently.  The first sequel involves the guy's step-daughter who gets tired of her step-mom lording over her.  Somehow the guy manages to steal the Hulk power from his ex-wife and it gets transfered to the step-daughter (whew, too many steps).  😛

The second sequel involves the ex-wife pissed off after losing her power and goes to a nuclear facility to regain her power.  I'm not sure how this one will turn out.

Yeah, it's very sad.  I had always thought that it would be a snake that would do him in.  But as someone mentioned in a news report, he was out of his element in the water leaving him very vulnerable to attacks.  On the land he was very agile and quick and could avoid the croc/snake attacks easier than in the water.

I'll miss his manic style.  He was not as crazy as Jeff Corwin whom I dislike.  I loved watching Steve's documentaries and you know that the video of him getting impaled will show up somewhere on the net.  :-

    Sorry for the ramblings.

I remember watching that particular show with Letterman guest-hosting!  The lady's name was Sharon Carpenter.  She went through that routine and probably converted more than a few people to the world of femuscle.

She was featured in some old muscle mags circa 1980.  She even stated that bodybuilding increased her bust size!  😀

She was definitely one of the first FBBs.

Oniko was never shown in her (assumed) muscular glory.  Art Adams did show her later complaining that it was her sister's fault that she is in the condition that she is.

In the last book (before the Gen 13 crossover), she was shown wearing baggy clothes to cover herself up (unfortunately).  I'm not sure if she was done growing or not.

Lol.. I thought that that was one story suggestion then I realized that it was three suggestions.

I always love time travel stories involving FMG where the past gets altered slightly and the present (or a version of the present) alters greatly.  That is similar to a Marknew tale that he modified from another author (not sure if it's the author of Tarzella or not).

I like all of your suggestions though, DJ.

I personally like the little pic inset in the upper left corner of the second link where Roxie is drawn muscular just because.

I swear that Art Adams needs to draw more!  Particularly more "Monkeyman and O'Brien".  I want to see what happened to her sister.  😉

There is one episode of "Martin Mystery" shown on the Nicktoons network that features FMG in an imaginery scene.  The episode is called "Haunting of Blackwater".

It's early in the show where they find that the teleportation portal that they use to go to their HQ is under the steps of a building.  Martin refers to Diane as a wimp and she tries to lift the step to reveal the portal.  She strains and sweats and the step eventually lifts.  She strikes a pose and is shown very muscular but it's all in her mind.  She shrinks back to normal when she finds out that Java the caveman is the one who actually lifted the step.

But if someone gets a copy of this scene they could always play it backwards to get a sense of actual FMG.

This show has potential to contain loads of FMG opportunities but thus far have not save for this one scene.  😛

Well, as far as Shulkie artwork goes by Mr. Byrne, I believe that I've figured out the different styles that he has shown us in regards to her.

He tended to draw her as a "fashion model" when she was tending to her regular business but while preforming any kind of strength feats or anything to pump herself up, she appeared to be in more of a femuscle form that we like better.  🙂  Check out any of his issues with her (whether in the FF or her own title) and you'll see that my theory seems to be correct.

Of course, I could be wrong on that.  ::)

Besides, I always believe that his artwork is more refined when someone else is embellishing his pencils.

Just being a stickler… but Jackie Robinson was the first black ballplayer in *modern* times.  The actual first player was in the American Association pre-1900 when the AA was considered a major league prior to the advent of the American League.

I lost on a Trivial Pursuit question on this very topic way back when.  :-
