I'd be remiss if I don't mention Calbot's other tale of femuscle, the Incredible Hulk storyline that he's written in the same manner as Lady Thor.  Betty Ross is the Incredible Hulk (grey/green) and there are four tales written thus far in the same section as I mentioned previously with Lady Thor.

    Both tales are good reads.

Also, since I plugged one story from the Fanfiction site, there is another set of stories that have been written by Calbot(sp) as "D" in the author's list involving Lady Thor.  In this alternate Marvel reality, Jane Foster found the walking stick (disguised uru hammer) that transformed her into the mighty Lady Thor!  The stories are written in a Marvel style that is very enjoyable.  He's made her tall, muscular and powerful although he doesn't always describe it as thoroughly as some might like.  🙂

He's written five stories thus far and is writing more as we type.  Look for it under the comics/Marvel section of http://www.fanfiction.net.

Well, actually Storm never wielded Mjolnir at all.  It was a different hammer that Loki managed to convince the dwarf who created Thor's hammer to forge.  Loki wanted Storm for his own I believe and she became a faux Thor-type as a goddess of thunder.  🙂

It was in an X-Men annual more than a few years ago and it might have been part of a continuing adventure between several Marvel annuals that year.

I did love Bloodaxe from the Thunderstrike book (and Thor also).  She did become huge and muscular but they covered her up with the bulky clothing that she wore.  I'm pretty sure that she wasn't a man under the clothes (unlike Mighty Man from Savage Dragon who is really a female nurse ;p).  The clothing prevented anyone from determining that she was a female.  I did predict that Bloodaxe was Jackie Lukas from the clues that were left and the clothing kept most from guessing her identity.

Btw, a fiction writer from http://www.fanfiction.net has written an Avengers story with Jackie Lukas as a female Thunderstike.  It's not bad although I wish that he would've made her more muscular in his descriptions.  😐

I forgot to mention that Ms. Muscles appeared in Legends #5.  That much I do remember!  😛

Ms. Muscles was indeed from the Legends mini-series from a few years back that Mr. Byrne did illustrate.  She was only in the issue as a side story with Guy Gardner ("the one, true Green Lantern" Lol) and only appeared on about three pages.  She was very well built and muscular.

I remember Miss Muscles from the Dial H backup series to Superboy back in the late '80s I believe when the girl (can't remember her name) dialed and turned into a very muscular woman.  They even had a small pic of her when the Dial H kids appeared in the DC character encyclopedia some years back (once again I cannot recall the actual name of the series).

Ashlee, that would be from Larry Heller's LH-Art comics.  I'm not sure of the issue and number but Natasha was very muscular and defeated each of those characters you mentioned although they were parodies of the real characters to avoid LH-Art from being sued.  🙂

You can visit the site to look up the issue on http://www.lhart.com.

Wow, David, you didn't waste much time scanning and posting the commission.  Now that's what I call same day service!  😀

You did a bang-up job on scanning and removing those nasty toner bands that were on the copy that I gave you.  It's hard to believe that's it has been almost eight years since you did that commission for me.

David, if you wanted to touch up the pic or improve upon it, feel free to do so.  You know what I mean.  👿

Ashlee, I don't recall the issue that you mention where Lady Sif wielded the hammer using Thor's gloves.  Could you point me in the right direction?  🙂

That was a very good story as I recall.  It had five chapters written I believe and it appeared that her girlfriend was wishing that she could have that kind of power.  It's been awhile since I read that story and I may have not gotten the facts completely straight.  🙂

I was just going to mention that fact myself but you beat me to it, O Might One!  It was indeed a nice little vignette within a very complex storyline.  😀

I always check over there every other week to see if there's any updates.

ROFL..  I was explicitely looking for the first person to come up with an April Fool's joke on this board.  After all, they do it every year in my local newspaper in a couple of columns and folks fall for that also.  😀

    Good job.
