I was trying to respond in this topic ("Lack of Community (Amaz0ns)"), about Lingster's ideas for revamping the Amaz0ns forum.

But when I clicked on the "Quote" icon in Lingster's post, I got, basically, a blank page: the header and ads all showed up, but nothing where the actual content should be.  No text fields, no icons, nothing.

This has happened several times; I haven't tried it on other posts yet, so I don't know if it's just a problem with this particular topic or with the "quote" function.  But it's a problem I wanted to bring to your attention, so I can see if it's a problem others are having or if it's some weird bug on my end.

Hmm, weird: in Preview I clicked on the link to test it, and the same thing happened to that topic: header and ads but no content.

Same thing happened to me with that thread.

It's an unfortunate bug that seems to hit threads from time to time:

You aren't able to quote or reply, and Lingster suspected it had to do with the post lengths in some larger threads.  I suggest creating a new thread and link to the old one for continuity.

It will be with us until I relaunch the site.

When that happens, instead of using the Quote Link I just copy the text with the mouse, and using Reply Link I paste it into the Reply Box.  Then I'll "manually" use the Quote Button (located on the 2nd row between the Pound Sign & Insert List Buttons) to box it in.
