Yeah, I was reaching for a way to explain why she doesn’t go around shrinking everybody who looks at her the wrong way. It’s been done multiple times, and I’m not good at combative scenes. For this story I was inspired by the Valkyrie site where the webmistress explains the nature of a valkyrie. I thought of submitting this there, but the protagonist isn’t violent enough to fit in with the annals of nightmarish viragos.

I’ll post the conclusion after I figure out how I want it to end in the next few days.
