I’m getting ahead of myself in regards to any actual growth (especially since the episode doesn’t even have a known premiere date yet), but the two-part Adventure Time season finale looks to be centered around Susan Strong, and if the preview from SDCC is any indication, it will be highly explanatory in regards to her past:

They recently revealed the title card, and I can’t help but notice her silhouette seems rather normal-sized compared to her usual physique.

Yeah, I mean, it looked like men wearing make-up. There were no breasts in sight when the redhead went topless and those voices were clearly male.
