This is a fanart of a character you probably don't know. Her name is Trixie, created by someone named Anke. I drew her as part of a fanart exchange called CMAX (Character Monthly Artist eXchange). Anke described Trixie as some kind of barbarian with her real strength being a beserk mode. I thought he/she drew Trixie a little too thin to be considered a "berserker" and thus this picture was born. This is a link to my dA submission, and in the description is a link to Trixie's character description page, complete with pictures of her and fanart of her.

To join CMAX, it's free: http://cmax.glomp.net They do this fanart exchange once a month, and I always thought it was pretty cool because this way everyone gets fanart š

how?
August 19, 2005 at 8:18 am #10769TC2ParticipantProbably doesn't look feminine enough, no breasts or any real female definine qualities on it. I think the fur is well done but something about the pose doesn't do much for me. Then again I probably wouldn't be a good judge since I'm not a furry fan, but it needs to look more female, that much I do know.

I agree, but mainly because it looks too animal and not anthro enough. Maybe a more human face. Also, there's no real chest definition and no way to see the eyes(Sign of a good artist – You can tell a girl from a guy by the eyes alone).
Not bad, just a bit of a nagging problem.
August 20, 2005 at 12:30 am #10771AnonymousGuestWow, it looks like a gay dog because it doesn't look HUMAN enough. Yeah, guys, that makes a lot of sense.
And it's muscular without breasts…man, you dudes are spoiled or disillusioned if you think that a muscular female without breasts looks gay. No wonder a lot of you don't like real-life FBBs. At least those of you that feel that way recognize that you're in a fantasy world. Just keep in mind that not everyone draws your fantasy women. I'm not going to apologize because she's not in a bikini with gargantuan breasts and giving you an anime-styled wink and a sassy pose. Some of us don't like to copy everyone else.Sign of a good artist – You can tell a girl from a guy by the eyes alone
Not true. My brother and I have identical eyes. You can't pick a genderless feature and then say you can tell a gender by that feature. "Sign of a good artist – You can tell a girl from a guy by the toes alone."
The only comment that's remotely pertaining to this is the comment on the fur and pose by our friend, Collector. But seriously, you guys, you're telling me that this looks gay because it's not human enough and there aren't any boobies to stare at. Does anyone else see how that's a little ridiculous? No comments on anything to fix pertaining to the picture (save for the Collector), just all your skewed view on what looks gay and what doesn't.
I'm no furry fan, either, but I drew this as a fanart. You can also tell from the artist's site that the character doesn't have breasts. Big surprise, she's a dog…when was the last time you saw a dog with human breasts? Anthros have varying degrees of human features, some of which are just animals on hind legs (this one isn't one of them since the proportions are more human).
Sorry to lay into you guys, and I'm sure someone's gonna throw some smite my way because they can't take this (but who cares? I haven't said anything remotely rude in a while and someone's still smiting me because they're hell bent on being stupid and wasting their time, like smite hurts me or something), but seriously…you're telling me the picture sucks because
a) there are no breasts on a muscular female
b) it doesn't look human enoughI'm looking for critiques, not your comments on how you don't know what anthros or muscular females can look like.
I could name some things that is wrong with this picture (no oneās saying itās flawless), but none of you guys even took a stab at it because you were hoping to whack off to some furry touching herself and here sorely mistaken.
Thatās so damn ridiculous. I guess I never noticed it because I thought you guys were all interested in muscle, but now I see that youāre just another group of deviant dudes that want a forum to come together and view things to masturbate about. It's funny how it took a non-fanservice picture to show me this.Between my posts that mysteriously disappear and the completely random smiting, it shows that you guys DON'T actually want a confident female and are actually intimidated by her. Here you like to brag about what you like and don't like, but in reality, you're just jerking off to muscles. Not all of you are like this, but enough of you are that this just is so pointless because those of you that AREN'T like this are just lurkers who randomly PM me and then stop even when I respond.
Some of you are genuinely cool and make it known, and that's great. The Pimp is seriously the best guy here, and you guys should all look up to him, although I'm sure he'd hate that since he's a modest guy. Then there are others of you that are also cool, but I don't remember your names since they aren't as memorable as the words "pimp" or "neon black." Oh, that new chick, Alisa…and Deadly Pixxie, and Kulli. You ladies are cool. The names I didn't mention, ya'll know who you are, and you know where to find me. This site has just become waaaaay too annoying for me to actually want to sign on. Maybe if some of you had some facts or logic or something, that might be better, more entertaining, and educational. Instead, you're just a bunch of losers whining and crying because women don't give you the time of day, so you take it out on me because I'm everything you hate. Wah wah.
And before you slobs start crying here, read this: http://www.amaz0ns.com/index.php?option=com_smf&%3bItemid=41&%3btopic=1211.msg8848#msg8848 and stfu.
August 20, 2005 at 11:29 am #10772TC2ParticipantOh I didn't think the dog was gay, I just thought as a picture it need a bit more dynamic instead of the static pose. The need for breasts wasn't really something for perverse pleasure but rather more for a distinguishing feature that the dog was female. It looked more like a male barbarian instead of a female one, it needed some kind of female quality to make it stand out especially since the face looked male. The only way to know it was female was by the ribbon up top but that's about it really.
The feet were drawn at an awkward angle so it looked like the dog was standing on a hill instead of on a flat surface. Also on the bottom where the legs are it looked as if there were veins protruding out, you really shouldn't be able to see veins amidst all that thick covered fur. I do have to say however, that the face was very well done and probably one of the strongest most noticeable qualities in the whole picture even though I don't like blood all that much.
That's about all I've got to say about the picture.
