At the request of the requester, I post this here. Thanks to "esw" for the idea. I may have posted it inthe wrong place but apparently someone has posted a picture with a similar theme. Anywho…I hope you like it.

I still don't understand very much about the rules of cricket, but it was great to watch and feel the national mood. The one improvement international cricket could make is having women like those in your pic playing it! Thanks for posting it.

Most wonderful, dear Peter. Most wonderful indeed.
Even though I's am not a devote of the sport, I's am a devote of good sportsmanship and fair play -two things which has been most absent from all forms of games in these latter years -with the exception of many of women's sporting leagues. I's wqs most pleased to hear tha this year's Ashes Tour was played with aplom and manners -a rarity with tose two antipodean countries to meet on any field.
"Tis good to know that such things are not as dead as we had once feared.
Thank you, dear Peter, for sharing that spirit with us here and showing us we have much to learn and to live for -in the moral sense.
Peace

Before I forget…Neon….esw sends his Best wishes and tells me that you could well be in my neck of the woods….well, the northern hemishpere anyway…I hope all is well with you.
But I digress…I admit I didnt watch any of the cricket either…I find it dull in the extreme. But there is a little flicker of national pride because we won the ashes after nearly 20 years not winning them and both fans and the team behaved impeccably….an all to rare happening in many major sporting events.
It further amazes me that us Brits invent many of these games and then excel at being CRAP at them. So it is a little surprising to me that we did good in this particular series. Heaps and heaps of credit to the Aussies too. Apparently it was very close.

Ah, yes!
I's must remember to e-mail dear young Shadow when I's next get the chance.
And I's am indeed currently in the Northern Hemisphere. Currently in America (have been in New Orleans helping friends salvage the remains of their possessions and migrate back to the West Coast) and soon to be heading back to England for a brief remembering before heading to the Continent for personal business.
Thank you for the reminder, dear Pete, and for the work.
Peace
