Yeah, there were several movies in the 70s featuring the African Bees that were coming up from Brazil.

But the one that stand out as most memorable was not the one w/ the killer bees, but “Curse of the Black Widow” (1977).

today sat. movie is daughter of the mind a 1969 pilot for a supernatural investigation show. its eerie, Daughter of the Mind was one of the first high-quality offerings of ABC’s Movie of the Week series. and boils down to an iron curtain nation trying to get info from a scientist. ENJOY!!
