Edwards was perhaps best known for the Pink Panther movie series, but his death has added poignancy for female muscle fandom because of the movie Skin Deep, starring John Ritter; and featuring Raye Hollitt in a small but memorable role as Lonnie Jones, one of the girlfriends of Ritter’s character Zach.

Can’t forget he created Peter Gunn, too. It became an unofficial theme for the Blues Brothers.
My favorite movies by him were “The Great Race” and “Operation Petticoat”. The original “Pink Panther”, also.

B)SKIN DEEP was already selling for a crazy amount of money before Blake Edwards died
Ex: $40 bucks=used & $90 = new
Can’t wait 2 see the prices nowApril 18, 2012 at 8:44 am #107312Robert McNayParticipantFYI for all, Warner Archives has rereleased the Blake Edwards movie “Skin Deep” in which the beautiful Raye Hollit makes an appearance, back in her prime.

Warner Archives is a “manufacture on demand” (MOD) DVD service, meaning, they cut the DVD when you order it. So, you probably won’t find it in a store, only on Amazon or direct from the WBShop.

[Lonnie walks into the bedroom with a robe on while Zach waits in bed]
Lonnie Jones: Look at it this way, Zach. I’ve worked 5 years, 52 weeks a year, five days a week, 3 hours a day, to build this body.
[She takes off the robe and reveals her muscled body in a bikini]
Lonnie Jones: And for one night, this night, it’s all yours.
[She starts flexing her muscles]
Lonnie Jones: How do you feel about that?
Zach: Like Mrs. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
[Lonnie laughs]
Lonnie Jones: I love your sense of humor.
Zach: And it loves you.
Lonnie Jones: Do you always try to joke your way out of a tight spot?
Zach: Not always. Occasionally, I’m too frightened to make my lips move.
Lonnie Jones: I hope you’re not frightened now, Zach.
Zach: I’m not, but fortunately my cock is scared stiff.
