…with a couple of old drawings.
And I mean "old"…they date back to 2003! I had no idea I'd been dealing with Dyna that long!!
Anyway, first up is a rough sketch of Dyna doing the classic Superman "breaking the chains around the chest" stunt (but looking better than Supes ever did 😀 ) This was to be the basis of a finished piece… and still may be someday, if i can get back around to it.
(Wish I'd had time to do something specially for the topic, but hey! I wanted to be first…)

And I must admit, flying with one fist down like an NFL lineman (sorry, linewoman) and having one knee bent under like that sure isn't especially aerodynamic.
My caption for it, if you will… "Dang, this wind resistance is slowing me down…"
Nice work all the same. Thanks for breaking this in. ^_^

And a nice pair even if you don't think so. 🙄

August 1, 2005 at 2:38 am #8910AnonymousGuestI like the flying pose. It's one you don't see too often, but if I was super pissed and flying, that's the pose I'd use.
August 5, 2005 at 4:55 am #8911AnonymousGuestBeautiful pics, Dave! Thanks for sharing them. I think the flying pose is more like a 'leaping' pose – like the kind of thing She Hulk might use when leaping tall buildings or something. Lovely art, man!
