When I read "how big is too big?" I immediately thought of muscle mass. Turns out most of the replies are height! For me, 6' is tall enough, maybe a little past that. But as pointed out above, my ability to also suspend disbelief about freakish muscles is greater.

I think that there is definitely a limit when it comes to muscle growth.  Too much muscle and one wouldn't be able to move.  It's probably better simply to have some moderate size to her.  As far as height goes, the sky is the limit.  I don't feel there is a limit on height

For me, the limit to muscularity is when the muscles get in each others' way, as
then she won't be able to move.

Similarly, the realistic limit to size would be about 4m or just over 13 feet, as
anything larger would be too heavy to be supported by 2 legs, no matter how
muscular.  Of course, if we start exploring different muscle and skeletal materials,
this limit changes….

As for me, its really kinda hard to put a line in the sand, though, hindered movement by muscle mass and too tall to hide anywhere make the general area to work from.

My taste tends to change with my mood :-*.  Sometimes all I crave is well-toned fitness muscle, other times I can't get enough mega-mass.  The common denominator for me is conditioning.  I'm with Tigersan on this one, there's no such thing as too cut or ripped.  In terms of sheer size, I agree with most people so far.  When the girl can't move anymore, that's probably too big.

As for the height question, I've never been into the whole giantess thing.  In fact, I prefer my women to be more diminuitive.  5'5 is perfect.  Mid 6 feet is about tops.

Well for me, I like my women to be shorter to normal female height, so basically anywhere in between 4'10 to 5'6 would be completely fine, although sometimes I do get turned on by women in stories over 6'1, but it all depends on the muscle and strength of the woman involved. Like Mr. Shhh, I've never been into giantesses or anything like that, its always been about normal height, muscle and strength for me.

Muscle size, well, I don't have any limits there, I've always been a fan of GBM's stories and his girl's muscle size goes nearly into the billions, and could go beyond, if he really wanted, and I would still love it if he went as far as his imagination could possibly push it. That goes for strength as well.

My preference has been for average to above average looking characters with a "hidden" strength. In stories I've written, the women are slightly taller than average (5'9" to 6") but are built in such away that in the right clothes, they don't look that far out of the ordinary. The only hints are shoulders being somewhat wider than most, thighs being a bit thicker and the such. Underneath the clothes is an incredibly powerful and muscular body.
Probably my favorite example in published media is the anime' "Ghost in the Shell". Throughout the movie, the main character, Major Kusinagi, is a very sexy, well built woman (albeit a biological android). But at the end, when she's fighting a tank,she leaps atop it and starts to pry open the top hatch with her bare hands. All the sudden all these muscles pop and bulge to amazing size and power.
Unfortunately, she exerts so much power pulling on the hatch, she literally pulls herself apart.
This is not to say that I don't occasionally find more extreme characters interesting. Of the artists on here, I find something incredibly attractive, possibly even sexy, about Getter's Queen of the Ring, woman curling and similar pictures.

In terms of Too huge, I suppose it's more when the focus goes onto Parts of the body. Such as biceps on a tumorous bump monster the size of mountains. when you can't see the head or hands is a bad point too. But I can enjoy really huge, as long as it's not fleshy, leather skinned huge.
