ParticipantI hope it is okay to post here..totally empty here.
Women's Athletics…can it also include the hardworking female athletes
that particiipated in American Gladiators?I hope so.
Here is a link to a great pic of "ICE" from American Gladiators, I really
had a thing for her several years ago. Very attractive woman. She was very muscular as well.
As was ZAP. 😮
These scans are from my trading card collection.
Enjoy. 😎

ParticipantWonderful, if you have more cards they would be much apreciated, I know that the women of American Gladiators were integral to my love of strong muscular and tall women, Sky for instance, if I remember correctly she was well over six feet tall and dwarfed all of the compeditors…anyway…

ParticipantThis reminds me: When I was a kid, I had a subscription to a kids' magazine called Disney Adventures. One issue (long ago, back in '93) had interviews with two American Gladiators. One of them was a woman gladiator called Sky. I actually still have that issue, and I dug it out after seeing this thread. She's not as buff as the ones pictured in this thread, but she was still pretty darn good-looking, and as far as I can remember, my first exposure to a real-life muscle woman. I remember, even as a kid, I would open the issue up to the picture of Sky and just stare at her. 🙄

KeymasterSpeaking of being reminding, I seem to recall Diamond (Erika Andersch), Zap (Raye Holitt) and Siren (Shelly Beattie) in their AG uniforms geting interview / photo op spreads in either Muscular Development or Ironman magazine. 😎

GuestWonderful cards! I thought the American women were very sexy when I was a kid (Ice and Gold in particular – was Gold Tonya Knight, by the way, or am I misremembering?). The American show was on late nights when I was very young.
We eventually had our own version of Gladiators over in Britain too, but (as is always the case over here) the women were far less muscular. Nevertheless, one lady called Jet was quite sexy and was at one point popularly viewed as the most desirable woman in Britain (by 15 year old schoolboys like me and their dads too!). Now she's never heard of *sigh* fame, you are a fickle mistress…
