I’m on Patreon (my site is in my signature, and I’m gonna attach a link).

It’s a good site for hosting independent art & stories, etc (and making a couple bucks). But most of the community you seem to be seeking, happens behind paywalls on Patreon. From time to time, I’ll post some free art samples, but to really see stuff (& communicate with patrons and friends) you have to make a monetary pledge. Then artists and patrons can message one another, comment on art postings. I enjoy it, but it isn’t typically an open community.
At some point, I’m hoping to start a thread in this forum to share some of my Patreon activity..
