I know. But I was thinking she would get an email about this, like when someone posts. But that could be only when someone directly replies to your post.

Mmm, yes you do, but only if you've previously set it up that way to receive notifications to supplementary postings in that particular thread.
You'd do better to send her a short note via the PM system. No guarantee, but most have it set up to send a carbon copy of the message to their registered email account.
Just click on her nickname to access her profile page.
At the bottom, where it says "Additional Information", there's a link to send that person a private message.

You can't – it's because of the forum glitch that locks out pages that were overloaded w/ text or artwork.
Instead, you can try an alt-route w/ the Internet Archive Wayback Machine that captured the page before the forum change occured.
Use block and copy the provided link into your browser.

The date Oct 11, 2007 came up for me, but it took awhile to load.
Hope that helps.
FYI – For whatever reason Kate never came back to finish her story, will be two yrs this January since she disappeared into the ether.

Thanks for the alt-route. I was able to recover the first part. It is a pain that the history has not continued, it was becoming good.
