ParticipantOkay, everyone… we're SERIOUSLY getting off-topic here. This thread is supposed to be about Quadra Blue, and it's now about cute animals. Please post stuff about cute animals in the Free-For-All forum. Unless they're cute animals being held by muscular superheroines, then it'd go in this Nerd Stuff forum. Unless it's fan-art, then it'd go in the Superheroine Fanart forum.
In any event, back to Quadra Blue!
I would, indeed, be interested in the process of Lyman Dally's comics returning, as I've only seen the ones available online. However, I wonder one thing… why is it that we need permission to post Quadra Blue pages, but none whatsoever to post pages of old DC or Marvel comics in this forum?

ParticipantI think it's because half a dozen pages of a Marvel comic could be fair use, but two pages of a two-page strip wouldn't be? I don't know.

And you said the topic is diverging from the subject at hand – and now your doing it yourself by raising the copyright vs fair use issue, which has already been hashed over here on Amazons (née She-Grew) in the past. I really don't want to get that pot stirred up again and perhaps it would be better suited to the Free for All forums. I'll only say this much – in both cases its a violation of ownership, but with DC and Marvel (Image, Gold Key, et all) they seem to have been turning a blind eye to reposted scans of their old materials on any number of fan-oriented forums – and the same appears to be true of those artists selling commissions on eBay or whereever.
Oh, and I just noticed that this is my 1600th post . . . 8)

ParticipantI finally caught up with the post! I remember that poster well, I had a copy of that issue of MD but it got chucked when we moved. But caught my eye are the measurements of some female bodybuilders now compared to Quadra's measurements in "2206" though I think the poster came out in the early 90's if memory serves. Mind you, Quadra could be consider as the mainstream standard size of Women's Bodybuilding on the large end in 2206 (a Heather Policy version in 2206 maybe?).

In the off-season, Tina Lockwood's quads got to an awesome 30 inches. Just a meer 3 and a 1/3 inches shy of Quadra Blu's. I wonder what Tina's up to these days?
