Seriously dude. Sweet drawings. Rogue is my favorite character in the X-Men series (except for maybe Gambit). Keep it up.
June 24, 2005 at 4:04 pm #5873Prophet TenebraeParticipantI always like to see Rogue absorb the characteristics of the people she drains, they messed with that in X-men evolution. She got hairy and feral when she drained Sabretooth but nothing when she drained Juggernaut – presumably because it’s a kids cartoon.
Anyway, great stuff Maniac.
June 24, 2005 at 4:35 pm #5874Debido-SanParticipantwow maniac…I stopped looking at this thread after the first Rougernaut…I had no idea you colored and did two more! great stuff man great stuff!

Oh thanks a lot for the support. 😡
But I’m glad you came back to look at it.
Thanks for the comments everyone. I’m taking a small break from this project but expect to see the Regime and Omniscent pictures with inks and flats sometime next week.
June 24, 2005 at 10:28 pm #5876Matthew LimParticipantJust a question for everyone. Should I start posting all the new chapters in separate threads? Because I know from first hand experience how annoying it can be going from thread to thread to get the whole story.
June 24, 2005 at 10:44 pm #5877TC2ParticipantPlease keep it in the same thread, I hate when things get split up into millions of threads. Seperating into different posts is fine with me but threads? No thank you.
June 25, 2005 at 11:28 pm #5878ze flyParticipant😯 WOOOOW!! You really deserved your rest… That’s one of the most awesome drawings I have seen. You definetely rank in the top of the basket. I’d put you on a par with David C. Matthews, Rex and Tom Burgos… 😀
And by the way, the synopsis is excellent too. Man, you’re gifted: an excellent drawer and an incredible writer. Ever thought about publishing?June 26, 2005 at 1:48 am #5879fasolaParticipantactually maniac, i would be coul to have it all together in one post. it`s easier to read, and i do hate jumping trougth treads.
June 26, 2005 at 2:22 am #5880AnonymousGuestI’ve been on the SheGrew! forums for almost a year now. I’m a regular poster and I contribute artwork every now and then. As far as my artwork goes, I’ve started having a lack of motivation towards actually finishing these projects. I put my heart and soul into these and I hardly get any feedback or praise for them. At this point I’m really doing this stuff for myself. I really want to provide for fans of FMG, but with people not giving even a little bit of a response, I don’t know why I keep doing it.
This is what Kiss the Maniac posted on Deviant.
I hope you aren’t serious about this crap??
For one thing, I am posting this on page 3 of this thread. That’s a LOT of feedback right there.
More importantly, what this says is:
You cannot exist without a bunch of syncophants drooling all over you. Just because there are so many people on this planet (they are called celebrities) who suffer from this disease is no reason for you to set that as a goal!
Here are some FACTS OF LIFE for Planet Earth:
Many people HATE you and there is NOTHING you can do about it.
Depending on others for your own self esteem is a great way to GET MANIPULATED.
AH well, there are tons more examples, but what the heck.
That said….. I think your TALENT is wonderful. Your art is great!!
There, Happy now?????????
p.s. I don’t need a bunch of stupid replies from the hugely anal retentive assholes who take exception to every negative thing that is posted, so just remember, if you post anything like that …. the Sacred Goddess will SMITE YOU DOWN for the asshole that you are!!!!
June 26, 2005 at 3:18 am #5881AnonymousGuestI was so surprised to see your journal on dA because I remembered this picture in the forum and remembered how much people loved it.
Muscle Girls Are Hot! brings up some very good points. You’re basically letting these people’s opinion (or perceived lack of opinion, although I’m not sure how you can think that since this is page 3) on your pictures. That means you’re getting bummed and not doing something because people aren’t commenting. That also means that you were dedicating your time to doing something just so people would praise you…not because you enjoyed it.
You see why it’s ridiculous? You’re relying on anonymous internet morons to make you feel good about yourself and your decisions in life. Come on.
