Looks to me likes she's been eating all her meat and lift'n seriously heavy.  😮

In case you missed it (I did), the Jan Tana was held June 23. You can find them with photos here:

Sarah Dunlap was the overall winner. Congrats to her, but I'm personally disappointed. Many women were bigger and more defined but placed far lower. Marja Lehtonen, who somehow is a lightweight (!) finished 3rd to Sarah. Maryse Manios and Jana Linke-Sippl, two massive women, finished behind Stephanie Kessler. It seems clear that the judges were sending a message. Bodybuilding should not be about… well… building a body. They'd rather see an Anja Langer than a Juliette Bergmann. This doesn't bode well for other favorites on Amaz0ns like Wendy McMaster. They want bodybuilders to look like the figure competitors, so why bother separating them? SHEEEEESH!!!!

Plus I didn't know the event was being held near NYC. Didn't anyone publicize this?

It's not just size and definition – symmetry, conditioning and proportion have been undervalued in recent years, so perhaps this is just redressing the balance.  I can't really see how Sarah Dunlap is so small; she never was little, and, judging from the photo I saw of her in another thread from this contest, she looked to have packed-on a lot of mass.  I can't see how picking her instead of Linke-Sippl is them wanting FBBs to look like figure competititors, either – there's a lot of difference between Sarah D and most figure women.

Oh, and I'd prefer Anja Langer to Juliette Bergmann any day of the week, and that's meaning no disrespect to Ms Bergmann – I usually prefer flowing, graceful lines to huge mass anyway.

After years of throwing ourselves in front of Sarah DunlapAwefilms finally got the chance to shoot some video with her. Interesting note, the 27th was her birthday. Quite a present wouldn't you say. The show that is not that she didn't earn it because she sure did. Best I've ever seen her.
