ParticipantBeing an avid fan of tabletop RPGs myself, I was wondering if anybody else here was as well. My favorite is probably Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 and it's myriad variant rulesets, followed closely by Exalted.
In case you're wondering, I do sometimes play buff female characters. One such D&D character was a human female cleric of Kord(the god of strength), the very same that our own Higalack drew. She was pretty fun, and was a better asskicker with her sword than the party's Fighter. The Dungeonmaster seemed to like her, and thought she was cute and funny(and not in a bad way at all).
I think her defining moment was throwing a huge monster's severed head(the party had just killed it, and the thing's head was as big as she was) down infront of a naga who'd given them the quest. Earlier she'd made fun of human females as frail and weak. She didn't make fun of her anymore after that. 😛
So! Any thoughts or experiences from any tabletop RPG to share? Don't feel like I'm only looking for replies from D&D and Exalted players, everybody's welcome!
I apologize if this isn't quite the proper venue for posting topics about tabletop games, but I think it's the closest thing we have at the moment. 😡

ParticipantI played a few muscular female characters in a superhero rpg called "Champions".
But I quickly figured out my group couldn't handle her muscles, so I changed her so she wasn't but was still strong (like She-Hulk).
One recent gaming session, one of them showed me an Axe advertisement. You know, the one with the female fbb in it?
I'd already heard about it from this board.
And if you've seen the recent "Dungeons & Dragons" sequel, you'll notice there's a very strong female Barbarian in it.

ParticipantI'm curious if anyone knows of a type of online format we could use to run a RPG game??? Some sort of chat room might work but what about dice rolls? I would personally love to run an amazon theme game. If anyone is interested perhaps we can start one up. I'm pretty familar with the D20 system and I'm learning Palladium (Rifts, Heros Unlimited). What should we play? D&D, Oriental Adventures, D20 Modern, or D20 future. Any thoughts, comments, or ideas are greatly appreciated!
I like using visual adds….this is the only muscle woman I've done with a sword but here is an idea of what I can do
Magic Sang Kauw +1
Twin tails of the serpent. Weapon functions as a Normal Sang Kauw however, once per day the tails of the serpent can be animated. On a successful hit, the twin tails make a grapple check against the target (grapple+21) as a free action. If the target is missed or the grapple check is defeated the effect is lost. Each round that the target loses a grapple check with the serpent they are pinned and take d3+4 points of constriction damage. While the weapon is attacking in this fashion it cannot be used otherwise. The effect lasts d4+1 roundsApril 2, 2006 at 11:02 am #25321yaracyrrah80
ParticipantWhoa, I actually have something useful to contribute!
Gametable: http://gametable.galactanet.com/. I haven't used it but the author knows his stuff. (His webcomic is a trip and two-thirds, but that's OT.) (No, I'm not him; my contribution is just the link, not the program. I'm not *that* useful 🙂 .)
I'd love to play in the game. Or I'd be willing to assistant-GM, as long as I don't have to come up with adventure ideas (I'm not good at that yet).
Nice picture, btw.

ParticipantThanks, yaracyrrah80. I'll definitely have to try that thing out. It could be pretty nifty. 🙂

ParticipantMy latest D&D character is a 6'7" street wrestler. I always wanted to try a grapple-based fighter. 😀

Participant
I'm thinking of running a game using Game Table 1.1 (thanks for the link yaracyrrah80). It would be the D20 system (the 3rd edition D&D rules). The setting will be the D20 Modern/Future/Apocalypse.http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20modern

ParticipantI always liked the white wolf tabletop rpgs. Mage was my favorite, due to the complexity, but I also liked Werewolf. A female Black Furies Ahroun could be as big as you wanted it to be.

ParticipantDabbled a little bit with White Wolf's Street Fighter storyteller game. Created a Capoeria fighter that belonged to a "Guardian Angel" style street gang. Friend of mine also had a ninja who took in a braniac/geek as her mascot/protoge. Had some nifty adventures with that.
