ParticipantMan, I regret not buying the Street Fighter tabletop game when I had the chance. I could've had a blast with it. I'd probably still be playing it today.

ParticipantI am a HUUUUUUGE fan of table top RPG's. I will play in any setting (fantacy, sci-fi, gothic horror.) You name it, I'll play it! My favorite setting to play in though is the super hero setting. I have a thread on the board here with the character that I have been playing with in the resource allocation Marvel Univurse game for the last three and a half or four years so she has a boat load of XP and is quite powerful.
Heres the thread link

You have probably all seen it but the last time I didn't give a link to the thread I was talking about someone got a little upset. 😀

ParticipantI've been playing D&D since 1982, currently playing the Marvel Universe (very interesting system) and Iron Kingdoms (probably my all time favorite). I have played Vampire (both the old and the new systems) and Werewolf (the new system). As for a favorite between the two it is hands down Werewolf, Vampire is too restrictive for me, with werewolf you can let it all hang out if ya want to (canine RAGE!!!). I have in the past played Gamma World once or twice, and Villains and Vigilanties once.

ParticipantIt be interesting to play a D&D type campaign featuring amazons. Not sure about how it would work logistically, but I'd be interested in trying.

ParticipantOriginally I thought I would run the game myself using the Game Table software http://gametable.galactanet.com/ but unfortunately I don't have broadband internet right now so I'm in limbo. The concept is still very rough but any thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated.

ParticipantThe only concern that immediately springs to mind is ability score generation. Obviously, special consideration needs to be given to the strength score. Also, doing something special for the constitution score would be in order. Are you going to go with some sort of point-buy or a modified version of the usual dice rolling? Point-buy would be the way to go if you're afraid of players cheating on the rolls.
Just my two cents.

ParticipantIt would be dificult to judge how to handle the heightened strength of the women. Are you thinking of level adjustments for the extra strength phy911? And how strong are the women of your univurse? Are you think just a little bit stronger than normal, say one or two times stronger, or bend a weight lifting bar into a heart shape with a cute giggle strong?

ParticipantGamestable has a system for dice rolling that would stop any cheating. When generating the background I thought people would play a character that was the same sex as they were and I didn't intend to have anyone playing a woman. However, if there were females I think it would be best to create a racial class similar to the rules in "Savage Species" for playing a monster. This would allow a player character to take a character level or a racial level. For example Female myostatin mutant might take a additional character level or racial level. A racial level would increase strength/constitution and perhaps allow for feats like great fortitude. Combining the Racial and Character levels would give the ECL (Equivilant Character Level). So there would be no uber powerful characters, no level adjustments, and female characters would have to decide to take a level that would increase muscles or character class. A woman could potentially take just levels in racial class increasing strength and constitution building a super human physique yet her base attack bonus would stay the same unless she took some character class levels. She would still have her plus to hit modifier from her strength bonus but she wouldn't be developing any base attack bonus…. What do you guys think?
