I don’t know about you but I’m really getting worn out with skin and bones with big boobs!
November 9, 2010 at 11:51 am #96832HolidayParticipantIf Megan Fox back in the news? There’s no justice.

Another good choice would be Armenian. Historically speaking, the Amazons resided in Asia Minor not Greece.

Me too. 🙂
You can also add short-statured to the mix.
Why is it in sci-fi programs you see these undersized waifs beating the crap out of men twice or more their mass? Simply not believable.

~ Mark Twain / Samuel Clemens (1907)November 9, 2010 at 6:09 pm #96847ReasonParticipantSeems like a lot of people want the actress to be of Greek descent, but I would put her looking the part ahead of her ethnicity.
Right now my fantasy choice for casting would be Eve Torres from WWE and my realistic choice is still Sarah Lancaster from Chuck.
However, I can see this series focusing on drama over action, so I’m pretty sure we’ll be stuck with a stick!

Attachments:November 10, 2010 at 1:19 am #96875Solarian, aka LordDarothParticipantShe’s fit, but she’s short.
Wonder Woman needs to be 6 feet tall:)
November 10, 2010 at 1:27 am #96877TC2ParticipantOkay…
In little green mile Michael Clarke Duncan was actually smaller than some of the police officers. Sure as hell didn’t look that way in the movie!
The scenes in lord of the rings where they made gandalf look taller than all the other hobbits.
Height is not an issue, anyone can be made to look taller or shorter with clever camera placement. No special FX needed, I wish everyone would stop complaining about height.
The only time height would be an issue is when you’re working with an actual little person.
Anyway, as for Pauline? She’d be a great fit but she can’t act and has a very thick accent.

Don’t Forget who’s playing Odin in the new Thor movie. It’s all in the camera angles brother. B) 😉
November 10, 2010 at 11:12 pm #96894SnotlingParticipantNordin has no hips, wouldn’t look too great in the costume… would look like a cross dressing teenage boy with a boobjob. Still I think she’s a great athleete, just not wonder-womanly
I would probably be looking for someone who’s more like a younger Sigourney Weaver or Mediterranean Lucy Lawless.
And I do not agree that camera angles will do the trick EVERY time… would it hurt anyone to have an actual amazon-looking action actress once in a while? I haven’t seen one since Weaver and Lawless. Tall girls need row models too instead of stooping their shoulders in shame of being too tall.
the blond from TV’s “Chuck” would be credible with brown hair and heels… I guess.
