MemberLeaving pets to work while you’re off doing something else is one of those things that sounds simple, then turns weirdly technical once you start chasing better timers. The aim is pretty clear: level a pet, build KG, and not burn through fruit every few minutes. A lot of players doing long sessions for farming or trading GAG Items tend to favour loops that keep firing on their own, because once the timing is right, you can step away without babysitting the lineup.
The simple Lion and Peacock loop
The first setup is still the one most people learn first, and for good reason. You’ll need a 60 KG Lion and a Peacock sitting around a 15-second cooldown. When their skills line up, they keep pushing each other back into action, which gives you a steady chain of activations. It’s not flashy, but it works. After the loop is stable, many players add an Elephant and the pet they actually want to level. From tests shared around the community, this can push a pet to Age 50 in about 7 minutes and 4 seconds. That’s not the fastest run you’ll ever see, but it’s easy to set up and doesn’t ask for extra toys or constant clicking.Swapping in Griffin for faster age gains
If you’ve got better pets ready, the next step is bringing in a Griffin. This version uses the same 60 KG Lion and 15-second Peacock, but adds a 60 KG Griffin to tighten the cycle. Some players use a Tiger for a moment while syncing the timings, then pull it out once everything is behaving properly. You’ll notice the difference pretty quickly. The loop feels cleaner, and the target pet gains age at a better pace. In testing, this version reached Age 50 in roughly 6 minutes. That small time save matters if you’re running the setup again and again across several pets. The Colossal Peacock setup for stronger AFK runs
The more advanced version needs a bit more investment. You’re looking for a Colossal Peacock with at least 140 seconds of cooldown reduction, plus a Lion and Griffin at 60 KG each. In most cases, that means the Peacock is going to be around 100 KG or higher, unless you’ve got other bonuses helping out. Once the timing locks in, the three pets keep the skill chain moving without much fuss. The nice part is that it leaves extra slots open, so you can bring support pets or focus on a second goal while the main loop handles the levelling. Test runs have shown Age 50 in about 5 minutes and 56 seconds, which makes it the quickest option here.Picking the setup that fits your account
Not every player needs the strongest combo right away. If your roster is still growing, the basic Lion and Peacock method is more than fine. If you’ve already got Griffin built up, use it. And if you’re deep into pet weight stacking, the Colossal Peacock route is where the better long-term value sits. Players who are also upgrading gardens, trading, or looking for cheap Grow a Garden Sheckles can save a lot of time by choosing a loop they can leave running safely. The best AFK setup is the one you can actually maintain without checking your screen every few minutes. -
