AlexGKeymasterShe first showed up, if I remember right, in the Doc Samson mini-solo four issue storyline. I might add Dan Slott, the current writer for the She-Hulk title was the writer for this one, too.
Try these two – she’s not the most buffed up character, sort of on the lines of Rachel McLish, but younger.

AlexGKeymasterThe big deal these days is the IFBB is saying no one goes to the women’s shows but if we start turning up we could help them change their minds.
Not certain if that will be much of an influence at this point. 🙁
Just in case you missed this, best check out what Joanna Thomas has had to say on the subject about the future of FBBing w/ the IFBB under the current management –

AlexGKeymasterHey, why don’t any fan artists draw She-Hulk as she looks in the current "She-Hulk" series? You know – post issue #8, with her bulked-up physique?
I’d seriously pay for some more art portraying this version of She-Hulk, as I’m worried Dan Slott will slim her down for the new issues of the comic in Oct.
There are at least two that I know of that do it on a regular basis, Tom Burgos and Yatz, both of whom do commissions for $$$ – the other would be Alrio Art, also who does commissions and did a super fantastic Savage TF one for Terry (aka Terry19d) a while back.

AlexGKeymasterI’ve been to some BBing contests – no surprise there, being one myself. 8)
One of the more memorable instances for up and close personal encounters was when an FBBr contestant was photographing her hubby up on the stage during the pre-judging – so excited and focused was she that she accidentally backed up into me and ended up in my lap where I was seated.
Needless to say I saved face for the poor dear.
With an amused smile, I said: "You’re having a really good time aren’t you?"
She laughed, much relieved, "Oh my yes!"

AlexGKeymasterI never understood the name Transvigor. It sounded as if it were about transformations.
My interpretation of it, for what its worth, was Trans for Transition or Transformation (depending on the context) and Vigor for Strength, Prowess and Agility. In other words, examples of super-superior physical specimens of Humanity and one can only hope, with the matching intellect and morality to not abuse those special gifts. 8)
BTW – I also preferred, vastly so, the old name Transvigor – much more inclusive sounding.

AlexGKeymasterI’ve seen that pose only once, it was a Monica Brant pic in one of the BB mags, Muscle Mag of Ironman.
Thanks for the input, I think I know of the one you speak of, but that pose has been used before and the picture I’m thinking of was much further back (mid to late 80’s) then the time period for Monica Brant in the 90’s. 8)

AlexGKeymasterStill, though, I say that muscles are more frightening to the average person on a woman. It’s like the woman shed her femininity…that you will receive NO mercy. I thought that would make a better villianess.
Hmmm not frightening, I’d say the correct word is intimidating – and the truth be known large, well developed muscles on anyone, male or female, can be both impressive and very intimidating, especially so if you add in an above average height factor. Psychologically, it’s all in the aura you want to visually project for yourself, however, the persona within can easily disarm this effect with a friendly, good-natured smile . . . 8)
He saw her more as toned, I saw her more as incredibly overpowering and tall (like an Amazon, but with both breasts)
Hmph. . .
Good to see someone knows their History.
Or, mores to the point, their Ancient Greek propoganda.Well put and I couldn’t have put it better myself. 😉

AlexGKeymasterI can’t see the pictures you posted – the links go nowhere.
Don’t know what to tell you other then that there seems to be some glitch going on at Imageshack, have to wait and see if it clears up. 8)

AlexGKeymasterI previously mentioned the one by Kenyon over on the She-Hulk forum the other day – not much enthusiasm from certain parties as to her attractiveness. 😯 But then, I’ve gotten that sort of response before when posting other FBBr related materials in relationship to the She-Hulk – so I knew to expect it. 8)
On a side note, I also made a passing comment that I think that I’ve seen that particular pose before as a photograph, possibly the origin for the drawing. Based on the face, maybe Cathy Palyo or Denise Rutkowski?

AlexGKeymasterHmmm, that’s the second time I’ve had my log-on not work – must be a time out thing. 😳
