    Japanese hentai is replete with girls who possess feline tails and ears (it’s known as kemono), so maybe tails and such are what is meant by "appendages".

    (and just in case you’re curious, the Japanese term for "dick girls" is futanari… and I’m likely displaying far more knowledge about hentai than is probably healthy 😳 )

    Isn’t a kemono a Japanese garment for women?

    Actually the lesbianism is the least implausible aspect of this story, as sexuality seems to be a more fluid construct with females than males.
