ParticipantWith cp's application of figure standards to women's bodybuilding, female bodybuilders might look like they did in the late Seventies and early Eighties again (pre-steroid and diuretics abuse). I doubt that could ever happen. I don't think bodybuilding (as a commercial entity) will ever take such a drastic (but warranted) step back. At least not the IFBB or NPC.
It'll never happen, but it can in my daydreams. ;D
I'm not against size (anyone who has read me dribbling over photos of Kristy Hawkins or Gina Davis can attest to that), but the associated problems the pursuit of size + bone-dry shredded appearance brings causes me to bemoan the lack of aesthetics in the judging of top-level competition. One look in my favourites list shows me that most of my FBB faves are NPC-level rather than IFBB as so few Pros look attractive IMO whilst being competitive.Anyway, I've done this subject too often. I don't want to become a one-speech Hamilton, so I'll say no more on the matter.

Her t-shirt sayz it all . . . ๐
She's definitely maturing well – like Cindy and Britt she's growing into her beauty and physique-wise is already there. 8)

Enjoy! ๐
It certainly was good, but can you imagine how hot it would have been with oil rather than water?! ๐ฎ 8)

ParticipantAs someone who has slightly reduced stature, I'm interested in her as in how she views herself. I suppose I can understand a fraction of howshe experiences the world, though I'm a LOT taller than she is. ::) ;D 8)

ParticipantOh really, think you're so tough, think again. ๐ ;D 8)

I love the facial expressions Luis draws and the way he gives the characters' hips a real flaring shape. 8) I for one ain't going to argue with WW looking like that! ;D

ParticipantWell, I wouldn't be going all doom and gloom just yet – again, I still feel itโs a cyclical thing during the yr, with an ebb and flow participation. Admittedly, in my locating and making people here aware of the buffed chix materials that I find, I try to stick to a few niche interests, and assume others will cover for those that I donโt normally bother with following too closely.
Lingster has established something here that you don't normally see with most forums. Rather then being a Johnny-One-Note with say, sticking to only GTS or Furry or SW as the genre germane to involvment and posting, Amaz0ns has balanced variety to it. Not only in the realms of fantasy, but also involving real-world applications, whether itโs about FBBing or Athletic Woman. Moreover, its one of the few places that promotes femuscularity as a positive aspect for women, whether itโs FBBing or the area of in-general fem-empowerment. These factors of flexiblity are the key to its survival, especially over the long haul.
With very few rare exceptions (DTV, which come most readily to my mind), you aren't going to find yourself, (especially if you a writer or an artist), a very popular fellow (or fellowette) with those who regular attend most TF forums, and of whom have an active fear and loathing for the concept of buffed chix and FMG.
I must admit I was getting a little pessimistic last night. I'd agree that Amaz0ns will be well-served by its broad spread of interests and inherent flexibility. I am concerned, though with this trend of new members posting a few related posts then disappearing. It means that new blood isn't becoming an integral part of the site, and that concerns me. If I think back to the last new members I can remember offhand who have become regular contributors I'm left thinking of people like Corcarne, Ad Meyer and Mimi rather than anyone much more recent (sorry if I've missed anyone obvious).

ParticipantWell, I'm no comic fan; what I meant was that I hope that she is drawn buff for all those Amaz0ns members who are comic-book buyers. 8) ๐

ParticipantYeah, Kim's physique does add argument for the 20% Rule in fitness & figure. But IMHO she's proof of long time athletes who just develop more over time.
To me she adds argument for the adoption by BBing of Figure standards of physique and judging.

ParticipantFor my part, as I haven't got around to getting a DA membership, I can't see the picture full-size. It looks good in the thumbnail, though. 8)
I've certainly noticed a lack of comment recently. I'll log-on after a couple of days, and find that only one or two new comments on threads I've commented on. Also, I've noticed a lot of activity on the Growth and Fandom boards, neither of which is my 'thing', and commensurately a reduction in activity on the boards I normally frequent (Athletes, here and Muscle stories mainly). As for why, I have no idea. Perhaps it's easier to post a couple of page from an old comic or write a post about a girl hitting 50 ft tall than it is to write a story, produce a piece of artwork or produce a profile on a muscular woman. For my part, I cannot imagine not coming here, and I continue to post frequently, but I fear that the site may be entering a terminal decline in activity, as it doesn't matter how good Lingster is as a host, if nobody posts here, then how can it survive? It all seems related to the fact that there seem to be loads of new members here who post a few times about a Figure competitor or to mention a website, but who don't hang-around and get involved. They seem to treat it like a billboard.

ParticipantLovely mucles on that cover. Let's just hope that the content is as good for all the comic-buyers.
