The point is that not all men are as strong as each other, yet we don't hear shorter, less muscular guys being told to not venture out after dark, carry a torch (flashlight), etc.  Of course not: they're men, so their testosterone makes them invulnerable, doesn't it?  It's only poor little itty-bitty women that are vulnerable! <End sarcasm>

I'd love to hear the "women are weak and can't defend themselves so they must spend their lives terrified" crowd explain this:

Go Nikki!  What a woman!  The guy who says she can beat-up 90% of the men in the world is wrong; it's more like 98%!

Can I get an "AMEN," brother?

I teach karate and self-defense, and one of the things I love best about it is when a woman who was formerly very timid starts to understand that she never has to be completely helpless.  Those FMG/Strength stories you mention are just amped up versions of what I do in reality, and I love it.

Imagine what you could acheive training a woman who was already properly buff! 😮

Press worker at a metal scrapyard.
The difference is, she doesn't operate a hydraulic press.  Instead, she just compresses the junk herself!  This way, she doesn't have to worry about getting clumsy at work, doing even more damage….

    Good idea!  Seconded!

Or maybe the web developers at Gracenote think girls with muscle are hot.

Let's hope so! 8)  Of course, if they do, then they're right!

By your standards, lingster, yes.  😉

Actually, I'm not sure that our glorious leader is necessarily a fan of the activity of being an FBB, so, by his (and my) standards, that's an impressive bicep!

    And I say, why bother with the bikini . . .  😉

Wow – that's so hot!  I think it's the expression; that sassy, confident attitude that oozes from the image – that's one of the things about muscular women that I find especially sexy, the confidence in their physical ability that skinny women don't have <swoon>.

In particular, she notes that at young ages, girls and boys perform on a par, but as it becomes important to be attractive to young men, girls start to perform less well in physical activities.

In fact, around 8-12 years of age, girls are often stronger than boys.

Okay…now THAT'S what I've been waiting for…that pose right there is a true representation of the word "BUFF". 🙂

    Quoted for truth.
