ParticipantDon’t most doctors advise against something like this?
Yeah, usually. Especially stuff like lifting heavy weights or anything that “strains” the body. You risk inducing premature labor.

ParticipantThe red/green looks like it might be good, but its hard to tell. Its very dark and monochromatic and the 3D effect doesn’t work very well like that.

C-c-c-c-c-combo breaker~
I read it over on Fortune’s website. Reading between the line of his resignation letter sounds like his cancer has come back in force.
I’ve never been a Jobs/Apple and his whole cult-of-personality fan, but the man was one of the icons in the democratization of the computer. If it his cancer, I’ll keep him in my thoughts. π

Why do you folks think everybody’s out to get you? π

Out to get me? All I did was doubt an internet tabloid… Out to get folks like me? Hell I don’t even post enough on this site for you to know that I’m anything more than a fbb appreciator. That puts you in the same group.[/quote]
From my eperience from several discussion groups and community websites, folks who defend No Child Left Behind that vehemently are usually of one political party. And that party usually has the attitude of “if you ain’t with us, yer aginst us”.
And you did a bit more than “doubt”, you actually cast an accusation by claiming the column was fake and saying that the author was out to “get people riled up against No Child Left Behind”. I pointed out that the “tabloid” in question and the columnist were both British and could probably care less, if they’ve even heard heard of NCLB.

ParticipantIn the end, I think this article is just a fake column by someone who wants to get people riled up against No Child Left Behind. Terrible journalism on the author’s part resorting to lying to get anti-NCLB supporters instead of using actual, legitimate arguments.
“Riled up” against No Child Left Behind? I doubt it, considering the Daily Mail is a BRITISH newspaper.

ParticipantShe’s awesome. Thick, defined mucles but not overly large. Her build just says “strong”. Wow.

ParticipantOh for pitys sake – its a superheroic story by Hollywood, you were expecting reality???
Get over it already, itβs not canon, its interpretation of the subject matter.
Seems fine to me, under the circumstantances . . .
Geeze, some ppl are so picky!
Michelle Pfieffer looked more believable (and a damn sight sexier) as Catwoman than she does or could ever look.
Heck, even though the movie totally sucked pond scum, Halle Berry looked damn nice as Catwoman.

ParticipantYes I do.
Do you remember the b/w Flash Gordon serials?I don’t “remember” the Flash Gordon serials, they were a couple of decades before my time, but episodes did get occasionally on late night local TV when I was a kid. I went and bought all 3 serials when they came out on DVD, along with the 1 Buck Rogers serial. And the Buck Rogers TV show (Erin Grey in spandex = the stuff dreams are made of). :woohoo: :silly:
Do you remember Stan Freberg?
